I've made a few saltbars and have always added 1part salt 1part oilsand have put in oven 45-1hr.@170 are you having less crumble when you add less salt? do i leave it in the oven about right? have read posts with different amounts thanks in advance jo

Yes! I own a retail business and I'm saving everything! (hiding it from dh he cleans) Worded it wrong earlier post! I'm asking what a charge would be to get their orders there? If its part cash and carry and they order what do I do? Shipping is way to high. Do others tack a fee to help? TIA jo

that was different! the 1st one leather (75% co 25% soft oils) took 2.5 hrs in oven came out firm but not hard cooled a bit and cut center soft when cut (hard as a rock today) 2nd batch citrus splash hard a rock under 1 hr. (Same recipe) 3rd batch ylang ylang acted same as first all 3 measured out at same time and done at same temps and same batch of lye solution does weather play a factor when soaping? very humid and stormed last night tia jo

salt bar is in ovenand is still soft? been there just over 2 hrs. set up to fudge like and hasn't gone any futher! same recipe i always use and can't count how many i've made so... what do ya think never used leather in saltbar before but have in cp so any guess's tia jo

hi i just made a salt bar that seized slightly so bloopedit into mold and i have cut it now to find a couple 1/8" air holes in most of the bars can i sell something like that or try again (can't show can't do pics yet) just when i had the swirl better thanks jo

Hi Trying A Premade Base (alcohol Water Etc.) I Can Smell The Alcohol Put 3.5oz Base To .5 Oz Fo Warm Vanilla Sugar Type And Can't Hardly Tell I Have Scented It Had Been Using Cyclo. But Trying To Lower The Price For Customers Any Help From Others Would Be Greatly Appreciated And At What Ratio Do You Add Fo For Room Spray? Tia Jo

Hi back after a busy spring (i own a flower shop) and a week break before next wedding so back at testing and playing with my other stuff! How long can i call me a newbie?! lolMy ? is i use the chemistry store diffuser base and find after testing many fo's and ratios that i'm using about 50/50 or is mixing my own the stronger way to go? do i need to add imp or dpg to the base or just the straight base? (wish i knew what that base is) this stuff is confusing read the posts (more than once) tia jo

Hi has any one tried pink sugar in a saltbar? I did today! LOL pulled it out of mold and it's a bright yellow(scented portion) Swirled a nice pink (unscented)After oven process. will the color change any? LOL Was expecting tan to brown! Or shouldn't you use certain fo's in a salt bar? TIA Jo

Hi newbie here I think I messed up! Doing powder laundry soap and recipe says use 1&1/2 TBSP sweet orange eo, which I did. Now I noticed there's sweet orange eo and sweet orange 5fold eo! Guess which one I used.LOL. I only have enough ingreds. to make a triple batch. Do you actually use 1/5? THANKS jo
