  1. First, if you want to make Pillars you may want to get a harder wax. Soy is mostly used for jar candles, and in most, you won't need any additives. 2nd, you will find you will want more f.o. unfortually, in time soooo much more! The 1oz. won't get you to far. Once you can join the classies, you can find a lot there from alot of great people. You really might want to get a small and large pouring pot starting out, and most defiently a scale and themometer. Hope this helps some. Kim.

  2. WELL! Use to love them! They have great molds. At one point they sent me the wrong mold. I sent it back, and did everything I was told to do. I never heard another thing. No return calls or e-mails, an endless process with them. I finally threatened them with small claims court and a very bad reputation. It took almost a year to get it replaced, but I finally did! Do what Luci said, there are a couple different threads on them. Like I said, there molds are wonderful, but their customer service isn't so great!

  3. Thank you both so much! I just contacted Alabaster. THEY DO HAVE IT, and in pellet form. This made me very happy! Gingerinarkansas, try it you'll LOVE IT! Another thing, the guy says he was suppose to raise the price in Oct., because of the high shipping rates now, but he says he still has some left from last ship, and he will hold to his price intill he has to order again. Good time to order huh? Thanks, Kim.

  4. Your sooooooooo much help! I tried to call these places, but of course they are closed for the weekend. Every place I've found it lately, put it in the cart, then ordered, I got a e-mail back, sorry this item has been discontinued. But I'll defenitly give them a try. Thanks!

  5. I called Genwax back, also. She again said she never heard of it. Thanks for looking for me. I appreciate it! I'm sorry about your other f.o.'s. I do hate when you get starting on something then they discontinue it.

Donita, thanks for the link, although I did try. They said Enchinacea is also on their discontinue list. I've really been striking out!

  6. I just thought this would give us all a good way to get introduced to different molds from various makers and maybe try something new.

I myself, love Monica's molds Van Yulay. They are a very soft mold and easy to work with, but very durable and withstand a very high temp. She designs her own molds and are flawless! She has about everything. She's No#1 in my book. A little more expensive that the basic molds, but well worth it! You do get what you pay more. These molds can take a licking, but do keep on ticking. comfort@vanyulay.com :highfive:

  7. Hi, I'm sorry, I missed that. I was at a friends house a couple hrs. from home when I posted this and was getting ready to go home. But I did love getting all the info you gave me and the time it took you to do it. As soon as I got home I put the list in my favorites and have been checking them out sence. A special thanks to you~Kim.

  8. First I would like to thank everyone! This was very, very helpful! I live in a small town called Dillonvale. It is about 28 miles either way from Wheeling W.WA.or Steubenville Ohio, and about an hour drive to Pittsburg.

I do want to tell everyone about another site I go to often, but I don't hear anyone talk about. It has a little bit of everything! The F.O.'s are great, and so are the prices. Check it out! www.bolek'scrafts.com. I think you will like it!

  9. O.k. I'll ask! The jars that have what look like real fruit in the gel wax, are they real fruit or some kinda wax? I am new to gel wax and am playing with different things. I would like to make the fruit jars, but have no idea how to. Any info? Thanks!:D
