I would very much like to thank everyone. I did find the crystals that are for potted plants and I got and made them, but I am still very curious to what people are using for the salt crystals that actually work and are crystals. I am told they are some form of water softener pellets. I have tried what I know. Lol! Maybe I just better stick to the water absorbing pellets. Thanks everyone. I much appreciate you all giving me your time and help!

Can you please tell me what it is I need to get that I can get at Wal-mart? I'm sorry I don't know where the first site that shows the product is? I was everywhere reading. Lol! I very much appreciate your help and thank you!

I have tried every recipe i can find on these. I bought a big bag of Morton Solar salt for water softeners. That is the only salt in crystal form I seen. The other said pellets and I read not to use pellets. I am trying 6oz. of warm water to a teas of pellets for an 80z jelly jar. I can't even get them to swell up, absorb? I read different places to use the Morton salt for water softeners. Am I doing something wrong at this point? Any recipes appreciated! Please Help! TY!

I'm not sure what you are doing wrong, wish I could help, but I buy most of my molds from Van Yulay, and have never had a problem and have never warmed my molds. She is a wonderful person. Maybe if you contacted her she may be able to help with your problem.

As posted above you can use skin safe fragrances at or below the manufacturer's recommended usage rates.
With liquid soap you will find that the different fragrances and essential oils will cause different changes to your diluted soap paste. For instance, many will cloud the final product. Some cause the soap to thin, others to thicken to gel consistency.
As you begin your journey with liquid soap give plenty of time to test each and every fragrance in your soap dilution. Allow it to set for several days before making final judgement on if you like it or not.
I want to thank everyone for the information and the links. I think I have a lot to learn, and do feel I need to study up on this for awhile. lol!I have no experience in this field, but willing to listen. Thanks so much!

Thanks so much for your help. I really appreciate it.

I don't know anything about it, but use the search feature up in the right hand corner. You should get at least 5 pages of info. I don't believe anyone on this forum cares whether you end up selling or not. They're still willing to help. They're a great group of info sharing people. The ones that can answer your question are probably busy with the upcoming season. HTH
Thanks for your info. I did try the search on the soap board but no responses. You may be right. They may all be busy. As far as helping, you are right. I love this board. I use it for my candles all the time, and everyone here is SUPER!
Thanks again!

How do you make handsoap?
I posted this in the soap section but got no responses so I thought I would try here if you all don't mind? If so I do apologize! Hi! I am 100% new to this. Lol! I make candles and have never tried any kind of soap. My question is can anyone tell me how to make hand soap and also foamy hand soap? I would like to scent it and maybe color it also if I can. I have tons of scents.I guess my next question would be is, can you use candle scents or essential oils, and also candle colors in hand soap? I think it would be fun to make and a neat thing to have for gifts along with candles to friends and family. I really wouldn't expect to sell it! I just think it would be a new and fun thing to do.Anyway any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks so much! -

I just blended wild cherry with it for a candle. It smells like a Luden cough drop. I really like it!

I bought elastic bows one time off the classy's that fit over my candle jars. They looked really cute and dressed them up, but now I am out. I have no idea where to find them or the size to look for. The ones I got, she said worked for that and they just did, lol! Anyway, does anyone know where I can find them?
Another thing, always looking for Astro V wax. Prefer pellet form if possible. Thanks Much!

As with everyone else I'm trying to find gel wax at a descent price. I use to get it at Gelluminations, but I heard it closed. I know the price has went up so bad and so has shipping, but am asking if anyone has any ideas of any place or has any they may want to sell? I am also looking for Astro V pellet form single pour? The place I use to get it from doesn't carry it anymore and I was able to pick it up there.:smiley2: Sorry I know this should only apply to Gel wax but thought I would ask. I have found some places that carry it but the shipping is horrible. Maybe someone may even have some or may suggest as well to me. Thanks for listening~

My friend asked me to make some door prizes for her daughter's baby shower. The baby is a girl. This is one idea I came up with. I did it in pink gel and tried to achieve bubbles for this one. They probably don't show though. I covered the lid with a pink baby flannel material and tied it off with a pink ribbon and It's a girl stickers. The scent is Pink Sugar.
I never posed a picture before. Just wanted to see if I could do it and to get any options you all may have and any suggestions. Ty!

Same here. It depends on the time and the person. It is true that alot of people don't like the smoke. I sell alot to people that just want to open the pack and use in their cars for example for air fresheners. They really do work that way and smell good! So you have a couple options. Hope I helped a little!

Any idea if she is still selling this? I had gotten it off of her a couple times, but I can't find her now. Any help would be appreciated! Thanks!

Hi,
I see most places do not have this anymore or are out of stock, although Connie's Candles seems to have it if anyone is interested. I'm still interested if anyone has any they would like to sell. Thanks!
