Thanks candlebuddy...I think my favorite of your mixes is the Cinnamon Caramel Latte...I'm thinking of mixing Bert's Vanilla Latte as a starting point instead of a straight coffee scent...yummmmm AND my personal favorite "Creme Brulee" is "Deb's Creme Brulee" from wixnwax or Starville as they both carry it. I've learned everyone agrees to disagree in their favorite supplier for Creme Brulee.

Candlebuddy, What scents to you use as mixers with Creme Brulee? I'm always interested in mixing scents??? One of my most popular scent mixes is Baby Magic 50-50 with Snuggle Baby and call it Lullaby, and it's my top selling Baby/Bathroom scent. Which someone else had posted.
TIA,
Beverly

Nat,
Funny that you asked about candle applications as I HAVE used a few in candles and here's my results...
VW Princess came out great at 1 oz pp
BUT..I made a candle for my S-I-L with LaCoste and the f/o separated from the wax, so I guess it's a hit & miss in candles... I knew I was taking a risk as the web site doesn't show f/o flash points, so for the future if I need a designer oil for candle applications better to buy from SOS. My s-i-l was willing to test out the candles made from wholesalebodyoils so it's probably safer to NOT use their f/o's for candles....they are great in bath & body though!!!

Ok...so I've had a sample of this since late last fall and I haven't poured it yet, now you have me curious. So your saying it does need wicking up in your wax? Anyone using a 50-50 blend, and wick up?
Thanks,
Beverly

The Raspberry Brulee is awesome, strong, the Fall Harvest...I bought 4 oz, did a tester and poured the rest and sold out immediently. You really need to do the Christmas Pear, I've already gone thru more than a 1/2 a pound!

With SO many good suppliers out there I've yet to order anything from them....but when I do I definitely want to test the Pumpkin Cheesecake and Homespun sugar...and I can't remember but one of their Vanilla's???
-
My "favorites" are WSP Fig Leaf which is a Henri Bendel dup, VERY strong, WSP Mediterranean Fig, which is a Trapp candle dup, KY's Mediterranean Fig AND CS Mediterranean Fig which I re-name cause I carry both KY's and CS in my line of candles. I favor both scents from WSP for my own personal use. Can you tell I LOVE Fig type scents???

I just got my second shipment from Bert and WOW the Christmas Pear is SO GOOD oob, I went ahead and ordered 16 oz because of the raves on here and I'm SO glad I did. I think that one is going to be one of my hot sellers. I also ordered her Bayberry and I REALLY like that one also...and the "NEW" scent coming out...... her Chamomile Tea is wonderful, so GLAD she threw that one in, cause I generally don't like tea scents but this one I WILL order more of, VERY nice! The Paradise is another keeper, the only one I have to reserve judgement on is the Yuletide Medley...have to get it in wax to see if I like it better....now to play with the Pumpkin Custard Spice...to my nose it smells too spicey..maybe add a bit of vanilla for more sweetness??? I've yet to find a Pumpkin I love...anywho that's my oob review from Bert.

I have my candle costs figured out, but I have NO idea how to come up with a figure on my labor costs? I have a wholesale inquirey and need an answer asap? I have gone thru 7 pages here trying to find an answer?

Beverly
Is there a fragrance co. that I can send a candle to to have them make a dupe?

I'm not sure about the sending of a candle but I've sent f/o's to wsp and they have duped a few at no cost to me...but they are chosey because if they have a scent that is similar they aren't interested in adding another. You can call them and ask about it....
