  1. I am using Coco84X with 10% s&p 487 with a 9% fragrance load of Ernesto by Scent Memory in a 12 oz Libbey Status jar. Usually a Premier 750 or 755 work well with my FOs. This one though keeps drowning with weak flame and tunneling with a 750, 755 & 760. I am wondering which fix to try first: decreasing the FL, upping the Wick size to a 765 or higher or trying a CDN. In Previous tests with other FOs a CDN 7 worked really well but perhaps slightly too hot (150°F glass temp. about 2/3 down the jar for 1 burn).
  2. Can I ask is there a certain wick series you like when you blend it with beeswax?
  3. I see on most vendors who sell Accu-blend's Coco 83 & Coco 84x they recommend heating to above 200°F & pouring at 190-200. They also list the fragrance load as 8-12%. One or 2 vendors say 84X has a maximum 8%. I went to Accu-blend's website where they don't actually list 84x at all. But after an email I got a sheet on 84x that says maximum fragrance load of 8% for both 83 & 84 but it says the heat & pour Temps for both are 150-170. So what do you do? And generally speaking do any of you like either of these. I'm kind of trying to decide between these or Ceda Serica. Any advice or opinions will be much appreciated!
  4. Sorry if this question has been asked and answered many times but I haven't found an answer yet. I wanted to know how soon after pouring a container candle (Coconut, Coconut Apricot or Soy) can you begin wick testing. I know the throw will take time but I want to start ruling out wicks with the wax & container I'm trying. Can you start 24 hours after it's poured? Or do you have to wait the whole cure time? Thanks!
  5. Hello, I am just getting started trying to make candles after making soap was my gateway!
