Thanks for your replies. Unfortunately, I usually always take the hardest way around everything!! Seriously though, I will even have a jar or two in the bunch that will be ok. Yes, I have tried NOT cooling slowly, still funky holes. I just thought since it is supposed to be a one pour that maybe I was missing something...I think I will just have to give into the repour:sad2:

I am so frustrated by the huge (I mean HUGE) sink holes in my containers. I read about this in the archives, but there were no hints on preventing these. I have tried just about everything I can think of. I've tried heating the jars different temps, pouring different temps, cooling slowly, cooling VERY slowly. I really like all other aspects of this wax. Since I can buy it locally, I am hell bent on getting it down. Any hints would be appreciated.

Could anyone give me the names of any suppliers that sell these? I live on the West coast, but I can't seem to find them. I am pretty sure that is what they are called. They are quite thick with a glass lid? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks all..

I honestly have read everything I possibly could find on wicks. The problem that I am having is that I am wondering more if my perception is off....I always read and do research before testing. There is no guage for everyone's different perceptions. After searching the archives, I found that most people seem to use the 104's and 105's for this jar. The 105's worked for some of them, but not most. Could someone who uses this particular jar with HTP's please let me know if I am way off? Thank you

Hi there. I am having a really tough time wicking my 8 oz. square mason jars. The HTP wicks are new to me. The 105's aren't quite cutting it in most of my testers. I tried the 126 and thought the melt pool and throw were great, but it seemed pretty hot. Am I way off the mark here with the 126? It just seems so big! Being new to this, it is hard to tell if my perception is in line with everyone else. I know the guidelines for testing, but it is so hard to know if you're new to this whole thing.

Could someone please tell me how, if any, beeswax affects the burn of soy? I don't know anything about the burning characteristics of beeswax. Will I just wick my testers the same, or do I need to make some changes? Thanks much
