My question is this is dry oil/cyclo spray appropriate for men as a gift? My concern is they might think it's too oily. Do any of you make cyclo spray for men? Mary

Don't know if this is the right place to post this or not, but here goes. I needed a few items in a hurry due to an order from another supplier that fell through. I called Bittercreek South yesterday AM to ask what their order processing time was. I was told within 24 hours for internet orders, but phone orders would be shipped out that day. I placed a phone order, and the package was on my doorstep 24 hours later. Granted they are only 200 miles from me, but I am grateful for the prompt and courteous customer service, especially at this busy time of year. Mary

I have been and am still in the process of researching how to make CP soap. Although I am not quite ready to make CP soap, while at Lowe's today, I checked to see if they carry lye. I did not find a container labeled "Lye" , but I did find a drain cleaner that is 100% Sodium Hydroxide. As long as it is 100% sodium hydroxide, even though it is labeled drain cleaner, is this OK to use for CP soap? I know it is probably a stupid question, but I would rather be safe than sorry.

I got mine at Walmart for $29.00, it's a digital scale and works quite well. I see that you live in Round Rock, they sell that same digital scale at HEB for $19.00, if you have HEB grocers in Round Rock. HTH.

Good morning, I am new to the board and also totally new to candle making. After purchasing many soy candles and tarts, I have decided it would be fun to try making them myself. I have scoured the net, and through surfing I found alot of valuable info, but I also found the more I read, the more confused I became. I would like to start out with soy tarts to see how that goes. I would appreciate any suggestions about what wax to use, where you purhase it, and also the scents you use and where you buy them. Your help is much appreciated.
