Hi everyone, My name is Lorrie and I am new to the boards and at making B&B products. I have a few questions, and I hope that someone here can help me. 1. I am looking for a good recipe for shower gel - one that doesn't call for Shampoo! lol that is all I can seem to find. Does anyone here have one that they could share? 2. I am looking into buying some dried green kelp powder, maybe to make masks with. I plan on using Rooibos or Green Tea to wet it. If I were to do so, would I have to add a preservative to it? 3. For making lip balms... I would love to make a coffee flavored one. I saw something on oil infusions, and I was wondering if it would be safe to do an oil infusion with coffee? I am just worried about the bacteria. 4. I found a recipe for lotion, and I would like a thick whipped lotion. Can a regular lotion be turned into a whipped lotion or do I need to find a different recipe? 5. What products should I put preservatives in? Do I need it for sugar scrubs and lip balms? Lotions?
