I also have a show this weekend. And I am going to put up a leaf garland and add a few mini pumpkins and gourds to the table along with my candles and scented products. Adding harvest stuff hopefully with set the mood to buy....I wish you lots of sales...

Decor always helps me...speaking of decor.. I need some new things.

I have a craft show this weekend. Its outside and in the middle of a street. I have a 10X10 booth.(trying the show out,usually have much bigger)

There is supposed to be like 250 vendors...so which means 249 of them will be selling candles!

Any crafty suggestions about setting up or displays to make my small booth stand out?

I would like to mix some fragrances myself. I dont want to do the usual though...I want to do some that you would think "huh?, yuck!, or wow that's wierd?!" when you first hear it!!!Anytime scents..no need to be christmas or fall....ANY SUGGESTIONS??? I just mixed a couple myself...and they smell awesome. I did Blueberry Pie, Coconut, and Vanilla....and O MAN it smell GREAT!

Have any of you guys used allabaster for FO? How are they and if good, what are some of the best? It is pretty close to where I live and they seem to have good prices.

Boy, I wish I was close to TN. The good thing is now I know they are still out there, not discontinued. I'll see if my walmart can order some. My local grocer has been ordering some for me but he never gets any. He's been getting me 10 cases every week for over a year now without a problem. I guess you never know.

I've had many requests for amber. Any suggestions for a STRONG amber candle?

Are most of the fragrances at CS strong. I make parafin candles and around here, all customers want is knock your socks off strong! Any other suggestions would be appreciated.

They carry Kerr in TN? And no, my labels will not fit on the top of the jar. The sad part is that it happened so suddenly. I had no warning and I have obligations!

Thanks for the help. Unfortunately I only found Ball jars, no Kerr. The problem is that only Kerr has the smooth space for a label. Anyone have any suggestions for an inexpensive 16 oz jar?

Thanks guys, but I've checked every grocery and hardware store around here. Been doing it for weeks with no success. Maybe its a regional thing. I can find Ball but not Kerr.

Does anyone else use the 1 pint kerr wide mouth mason jar? All of a sudden, I can't find anyone who has them. Everyone is "out of stock." I've been getting these for years with no problem. Any ideas?

even if you just get wax while visiting....you probably save a pretty penny on shipping!( alot of pretty pennies!)I hate shipping wax......

My friend has been doing the whole ebay thing for years(she sells clothes) and she is having to shut her store down too because of the fees. She was saying how they went up so much from not too long ago. Owell....But thats good to hear that your website is selling!

I cant find any right now, but I remember the other day I was on there ...snoopin'....and I saw some for like 12.99(buy it now) and with like 5 bucks shipping!??!?!If it cost you 8+ shipping (lets say we're up to 9.00) then you add in your ebay costs ( which for a store its 10% of the retail cost of the item + .05 + extras(like photos and stuff) and then paypal is 2.9 % of total everything + .30!
