Now how cute is that!!!!!!

I make my own molds sometimes. It's quite easy to do. I use mold max 30, it has a 10-1 ratio. I've tried the oomoo 25 which is equal pour. Either was its simple to do; just pour and mix basically.

Very Nice!!!!

I do home parties. Not sure exactly what you wanna know but I make my own invitations from the postcard blanks #8577. I give them to the hostess to mail or pass out, I generally take about 5-7 items per person. I give the hostess a certain percentage off her order depending on how much the party generates in sales, and freebies if you book a party(and have it). I also take plenty of biz cards, order forms and brochures. Everyone that brings a quess and makes a purchase their name is put in a drawing for door prizes. That's all I can think of right now. If you think of something I didn't mention let me know and I'll help as much as I can...

I also use ezsoy. I love it. Just one pour. I pour at about 100 degrees as well. I've tried another type of soy and wasn't impressed due to the fact I had to pour a second time to level my candles off. Wick testing can be a pain but I quess it goes with the territory.

Very nice. If you don't mind me asking were the molds expensive?

Thanx to all!! Actually I purchased them in a lot of about 25 and they weren't expensive at all. I paid $43 including shipping. I used "gulf wax". There is this outlet store I go to alot and they had a case for really cheap so I thought I'd try it, just to do something different. I really don't know the pour temp, I poured at a very slight trace..

And what a tasty looking beef stew it is:grin2:

I put them on after the wax sets somewhat so that the don't sink to far into the wax..I hope that helps
DZ,That is all I want to do too. When do you put them on? When wax is setting do you just sorta stick them in?

I put embeds on top of my candles and people just love them.

That's horrible, If there was a way to cancel your order of jars then I wouldn't do it. Taking into consideration that will be right after Christmas and I don't know that it would be worth it. If you can't cancel you order then I would tell the lady she needs to go back to the HI rep and explain the situation and set them up for the FR in January. Too me that would only be fair. (sorry if someone else said this I didn't read all the post).

Candle business corner also has them I think.

It's my understanding that as long as it's quoted and you give the author credit you have no problems....

Very fruity looking, I like~~~~

Very nice. I am tempted to try that technique now. Is there a thread or link on how to do it?
The instructions are on the old board.
Those are very pretty, I tried that technique and it looks like it will be a minute before I catch up to U

Welcome!!! If you pull up the archives from the old board on the home page, left hand side their are some ideas there, you could also do a search on this board. some times people look at others items and get ideas from them...I hope that helps a little..

I don't feel a need to trash talk anothers product. I believe quality speaks for itself. I do inform my customers of the pros and cons of buying homemade products versus store products. I find that in general people really don't care to here one person talk bad of another. That's why we have samples, testers and repeat customers. This poor man didn't realize while he was trashing your product he ran away a potential life long customer!!!!

Whoa!! I'm totally lost on this one. Retired or not I can't see paying that much for one candle.

What a wonderful idea. Is that the invitation inside the bottle?

I also get mine from Sam's and Walmart. They are very sturdy.

That is 2 Purty!!!!

There not hard to make as long as you get the precut ones, I had difficulties cutting the full sheets...All you do is paint on color with markers, soap dye or water paints and once it dries paint on FO allow to dry and you're done. & String with elastic.
