Does anyone know where I can get a custom soap stamp? I want to stamp my logo on my soaps.

I put cosmetic glitter, you can get it in diffrent colors or glittery micas to add a little pizazz to the soap. Or I will add poppy seeds or dried flowers or other additives to add textural interest.

If it is anise cooking flavoring it may be water based and may not mix withyour soap well, I say give it a try and see how it goes. Keep us posted!

I have never heard of putting water in mp. That also seems like a lot of oils for just 1/2 cup of base. Any additive is going to affect your soap. I would cut all the oils in half and remove the water and see how that goes. I usually only ad 1 teaspoon of liquid oil to 1 lb of mp base.

She was outside, left candle unattended, when her friend went in the house to get something she saw it was afire. Thats all she said....left unattended...hmmm. thats a smart thing to do when TESTING a candle.

Well, I just wanted to note that i do not have to replace her mantle. It was just surface damange and she said she just painted over it. Wood Wicks are dangerous.

I have on from the company that retails them. I wanted to compare the burn. Their wick seems smaller and does not burn as high as the ones I bought. It is not a double wick like these either. It is one small, think peice of wood. I wish I could find wicks just like theirs.

I am so frustrated, I think after I get to talk to her at work on monday, I will feel better. I just feel bad about it. But I did not actually talk to her, I just got an email, it may not be as bad as I am imagining. Who knows. I gave her my phone number and she has not called, so she must not be that upset or anything.

Do you think maybe her container had a hairline crack that you didn't see when you poured?

I don't know I am baffled. I looked at the jar that hers is in and the glass is a little thinner than the one i am burning right now. That is the only thing I can think of. I am just so confused about how it could happen. I mean it had to be pretty hot if the wax was on fire on her mantle...right?
