Hi guys:D I would like to make a suntan lotion. I read on this forum or the dish where someone make one with cocoa butter, kokum, coconut whip and then a scent. But I don't know how much of each to use. Does anyone have a recipe they would like to share? I'm not looking for a suntan "lotion" just something that helps you tan. Maybe 1 or more of the oils or butters we use in B&B products. Something someone uses and it helps them tan. Thanks ldeb

Hi guys I made soap in one of Kelsis (spelled wrong) any ways in one of her wood box molds. I was making cp and I added the eo after I poured the soap into the mold -mixed it into the soap with a spoon and I by accident got the exact results as in the pic. I used coconut eo. Just my 2 cents worth. Debbie

Hi guys I have a question on Bunnys Bootylicious Body Butter. I've googled and I am not able to figure this out... I'm getting more confused. Anyway's here's the question Okay I want to use to aloe powder 100x for the aloe juice. So what throws me is how much water to how much powder? I read someone else's response using 200x powder but I'm not able to figue with 100x gosh sorry its amazing how something thats probably very easy to figure out is throwing me completely. So can someone possibly take pitty on me and tell me how I change 57% aloe juice into what part powder and what part water? Thanks so much Deb

Hi is anybody from Iowa? I can not find a place close to me even in this state to buy supplies. Oils, EOs-FO's. butters almost everything you need to make soap, lotion, lotion bars. I think everything you can possibly find in a store grocery or walmart I have. It cost a small fortune to ship everything and just thought one of you might know of a place close? Hi guys Once again I just have to say how great this forum is. I have been lost in all these pages for days... I'm addicted;) All the info I have learned in just a short time is overwhelming! Anyways my question is this..I would like to know where you all get your flavor oils from? I have ordered some in the past but would like to get some that actually have some type of taste to them. Do they come that way or do you have to add sweetner? I've read alot about them on here but can't recall what the verdict was. Thanks ldeb

Hi I just wanted to mention that at walmart they have GE 225 Watt Hand/stand 4 quart bowl traditional beaters and dough hooks for 29.95. I went to get a new one and was shocked to see 1 that cheap. It has 6 speeds and a surge button. Anyways don't know if anyone else is in need of one but thought I would share.

Just a couple of questions. 1st I made shea whipped butter for the first time today:laugh2: and I think it turned out okay. My question is how long do you wait after making it to put it in jars? Second is I bought 10lbs of African black soap from Ghana and I would like to sell a little to my friends at work and I have no clue:undecided of how to do that. It is in the shape of a blob more than a block and I'm not sure how to make it look similar to a bar of soap or ball of soap. Most of it is soft not mushy but soft but the bottom of it is harder. I know its suppose to look that way but do you just chunk it or what? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!! I love all the stuff I can learn from you all. Thanks
