  1. 1. I use a double roll of TP, usually Angel Soft.

    2. I then mix my wax, scent and color (if you want color). I use 1

lb wax for 1 roll of TP.

    3. In a kettle (big enough for the TP to roll and sit up), I start by

pouring some wax on top and then turn TP over and pour some more. then lay

the TP on its side and pour wax again, slowly, and then roll the TP to soak

    up all the extra wax.

    4. I then sit the TP on a dryin rack until completly dried.

    5. Add ribbon or anything after its dried.

Or if you want the cinnamon bun look..

After TP is dried, I take Vanilla scented wax and slowly drizzle over the

top. Let that harden and repeat a few more times to layers of drizzle.

I added a pinecone in the cinnabun one but you can add anything, but make

sure it wont fall through the hole..LOL.

I then scent my own rosehips to match the scent of the TP.

I put the TP in a basket or anything I think looks neat, add the rosehips

around it and add same scented melties and thats about it.

I like using the wicker baskets that paper plates sit in.

It takes about 2-3 cups of rosehips to fill around the sides.

    Hope that helps...

What a very unique idea! I absolutely love the way you have this displayed! :yay:

  2. Hi all! It's been quite awhile since I posted here, but I do visit quite often.

My question concerns IGI 4761. I just recently purchased some in slab form, but am having a very hard time cutting it and was wondering how some of you do it. I just seem to be making a huge mess with it and could really use some help. Thanks!

  3. I have sold a lot of items on eBay and never required anyone to purchase insurance to get their product. I give them the option to purchase or not purchase it; that is totally up to the buyer. If he wanted you to have it, he should have insurance required stated in the auction.

I've never had any problems delivering my items to my buyers nor have any come up missing since I started selling on eBay. Since I use PayPal for eBay payments, I always print my labels online with delivery confirmation, which is included free of charge. I check on the dc once in a while to see if the package has arrived. Depending on how far it has to go, it usually arrives in 2-3 days at the most when I send by Priority. If the dc doesn't show within that time frame, I contact the buyer to see if it has arrived or not. Sometimes the postal workers don't scan the packages and it will not show up as delivered.

If he doesn't deliver or send your package, file a complaint with eBay for item not received. If you paid through PayPal, they may require you to file a complaint with them first. Either way, you should be able to get all of your money back.

Good luck and hope everything turns out all right for you!

  4. I have 3 of the presto pots with the spigots. They do have a temperature control on them, but you will want to use a thermometer to watch the temperature of the wax while it is melting. I use a regular candy thermometer that I bought at our local grocery store.

  5. I always thoroughly wash and dry my containers and then wick them with the wick stickums. Never had one come loose in all the candles I've made. It's like some of the others have said: most jars come with a slight film in the inside and by washing them first, you should have no problems with the wicks coming loose. JMO
