I spoke with him today about some wax. Got the feeling he would have just talked to me all day. Very nice. They are about 2 hours from here so the shipping, if I don't pick it up, would be pretty reasonable. I just hadn't seen much mention of them on here.

Just curious. Has anyone used fo's from wickswares? And if so, what did you think of them?

We have tried to keep all of ours with a "fire" sounding name. We do the Tuscan Nights in gray and call it smoldering nights.

My sister wanted some small samples to take to her work. I used votive cups from wal-mart and covered them with saran wrap. Seems to work ok. But I have not kept them more than a few days.

I think we should change the subject and take a poll on how many "old maids" there are on board......frustrated or satisfied. Maybe we can include the bachelors, too. LOL (not taking sides, just trying to lighten things up.)
I agree! I, for one, would love to be experienced enough to be one of the "old maids" on here. I am very, very grateful that I found this message board and everyon is willing to help, even with some of our newbie stupid questions.
SO----Thanks to all and have a great Easter weekend!!!

Thank you very much. I thought this would be the case, just wanted to be sure. The shipping is definitely less coming to me from Texas versus Colorado.

Hi All,
I have a stupid question. I use the 4630 harmony blend from Peaks. Lonestar is much closer to me (cheaper shipping). Is there a difference in the 4630 from these suppliers, or are they the same????

Everything I've tried from Peaks has been great. Customer Service is great too.

Looking for anyone using these. I see where several of you are using the 700 series, but don't see much on the 600. I just received my sample box and am curious about some opinions.

Please share!

Yes. Customer Service has died. I managed a convenience store for many years and it was sometimes difficult to be nice. But. HELLO,that was my job!! I alway told my employees the customers wrote their paychecks.
Nothing peeves me more than an employee acting like you are a bother.

Those round magnetic tins were all I could find Tuesday, too. Looked all over the stupid Wal-Mart.

Wow! Amazing!

I like the 4630. Wicking is a bit of a test though.

I can only tell you where NOT to get it...Aztec.
lol!! I got a sample bottle from CC and did some Tuesday. Still have not burned them. But my 8 year old loves it. Wanted to know if she could put it in her room.

That's what I was afraid of and I've not done that.
Thanx

I have a wick question I hope someone can help with. I am using Peaks 4630 wax in a 12 ounce square jar. The jar is 4 inches wide with a 2 1/2 inch opening. The 51/32/18z has a great scent throw and flame, but is leaving a thin layer of wax on the sides of the container. The htp126 gives me a torch and very full melt pool in about 2 hours. Would the htp1212 or 1312 fall somewhere in between these?

Thanks guys. It is my favorite perfume. Hoping I could find an fo close.

Nothing for me. My husban is president of a motorcycle club for firemen and we are hosting a fund raiser this weekend for the Louisiana Childrens Burn Camp. And T-Ball starts Saturday as well.
