Hi..I am having trouble with sinkholes around the wicks with a new case of Joy wax I just opened. Never happened before. I tried heating the jars and it didn't help. I have been heat gunning the tops and find deep holes around the wicks as it melts down. What kind of trouble are you having? Have you contacted NG? Ruby

Hello Everyone! Many thanks to all of you for the tips, tricks and info you all are willing to share. I have learned alot!
I received my order from Select Shades today. Anyone use these? I am anxious to try swirling after all of your beautiful soap pixs.
Anyone have any info or tips to share about these colors?
Thanks again for all the help from all of you. Great Board!

Hi..I use joy at 50% and soy at 50%. I use 8 oz.jj too and HTP wicks. The last batch I bought seems to crack and tunnel along the wicks after cooling tho. I have been heat gunning them but I am going to try heating the jars. HTH

Hi..beeswax..is it in a solid bar? I buy mine in 1 lb. bricks. I bought a pan at a yard sale for a dime..melted the brick in the pan. You won't be able to use it for anything else. After it melts..on low heat of course, I poured into a bowl (same yard sale..a dime..filled with ice water. It will harden into pieces. Dry them on a paper toels until totally dry to avoid molding, then break off what you need. HTH..Ruby

Hi..I use Natures Gardens Joy Wax mixed with 100% soy at 50-50. I like this blend. I also just tried Greenleaf's 70-30 and I am thinking of switching to it. I like the idea of a more natural candle and I only use HTP wicks. HTH..Ruby
