  1. oops sorry Ok I am using pretabbed wicks for the tea lights 1-1/8" in height and attached to a 20mm standard height wick tabs. Wick material is S-330 cotton. The scent is vanilla (my favourite!) and I used about 1 ounce for hmm a pound maybe a little less then a pound of wax. And yes it is straight wax. In the votive holders the candles burn pefectly nice scent both hot and cold. Could pouring at the wrong temperature cause this or is it the tea light wicks I bought? (never done tea lights before) ohh and the links for the newbies is wonderful!!!! Thank you so much! And yes I found the search button.. thanks starla
  2. I just wanted to sau Hi to start with. I am new to this forum and so far I absolutely love it. A couple of questions please. 1) Can I do a search on here? I was looking for a search function because I am experiencing problems with my candles. If so how do I find/utilize it? 2) The problem. I make votives and they burn wonderful!! The smell emitting from them are intoxicating and I am so pleased with them THEN I put the left over wax into tea lights *sighs* do you think I can get a tea light to burn right?? No No No. Little itty bitty flames that usually burn our before a wax pool even forms. I am using a paraffin (spelling) wax, I add vybar103, ect ect. So what am I doing wrong??? thanks starla
