Heehee! I'm such a kid at heart I'm 28 and not afraid to say I'm ga-ga over My Little Pony! So far, I like Wix.com and my runner up is probably Square and Jimdo gets a somewhat honorable mention too. I really like the templates Wix has. I was frustrated with the site until I realized I had chose a template that wasn't a good fit for me. Once I found one where the overall design layout I was much happier with, you can customize it so beautifully! Even those who aren't the graphic design type can make a stellar website because the editor is easy to use (to some degree there's some drag/drop action too). I normally create websites with Adobe Dreamweaver but the site I'm working on with Wix I admit looks better than anything I've made because it's so streamlined, professional and crisp (if that makes sense!). There are some little things I'm not a fan of, but I'm more than willing to overlook them.
But YMMV . I love Wix so far and the pricing doesn't seem to bad either. I did sign-up for a handful before going back to Wix, so I'd definitely say it's worth a looksie! For what it's worth Square comes with a card reader for your mobile device if you sign up with them, in case anyone wants that tool for their store. They mail it to you for free. But I had to verify my SSN upon signing up and they kind of pressure you to add a bank account quickly so you can accept payments. When trying to update the site I was constantly bombarded with the bank account alert despite clicking "Later" and grew tired of it really fast!
Dandy is it squareup.com that you can do a website AND get a card reader? I looked and can't see a spot for a website? Am I just being dense? Lol

Trapp I don't see any other message??

Geesh, for some reason it wouldn't let me post the website address I tried to post here Little Light as I tried here. It was only one, but I think someone else had posted it here. I sent a pm message to you with the site address and it went through there in the message area.

Hey all! I'm curious... How SOON do you start to smell your hot throw? Not asking for help just wondering if I'm a bit ambitious with my expectations... Seems to me I would smell a strong scent start to fill the room within an hour... Ish?
-
I am getting ok scent throw and about 1/2 inch hang up around lx 18 and lx 20 but the flame flickers alot. Not the knock your socks off hot throw I'm looking for so I'm PATIENTLY (ha ha) going to wait for these double wicked ones to cure and see what we get! Ty so much EVERYONE !!!

Ty Barb... And are you using IGI 4627 with the 8oz colonial jar? And with this set up have you ever had a problem with it getting too hot or the jar cracking at all?
-
Yvw trapp! I noticed that old Glory and candy bee seem to help EVERYONE as well... I hope to pay it forward some day! And I will keep at it...wash rinse repeat right?? Lol
-
Also am wondering if maybe I have too high expectations ... How soon do you all start to notice a scent throw upon lighting a candle for the first time?
-
I looked on lone star and they don't have my exact jar but they have a closely shaped 15oz and clicked on the q&a and low and behold there was someone struggling with wicking THAT jar with the 4627... Read through the comments and 3 sepparate people said to double wick THAT jar so I'm keeping my fingers crossed that this will work!

Trapp i hope you know how truly valuable you are not only to me but everyone in this forum is better off because you are here... I watch you try to help nearly EVERY post that I click on!! You - my dear - are amazing! And THANK YOU! I know it probably sounds kinda redundant at this point but I can't say it enough... There are a few more and as I come across them I will thank them as well. I'm not giving up..no way.. I love a challenge and even though I get mighty frustrated I'm one of those that HAS TO complete/ master a task when I start so don't worry about that ... In this particular candle I used lovespell from Peak.

Am wondering what everyone's favorite jar/ container and size is for container candles and why?
Being a vendor in the summer.

I'm not sure if I'm putting this in the right spot or not but I was wondering if anyone has a system of keeping their melts/candles from melting or otherwise being effected by the sun/heat while being a vendor at one of the community outdoor summer events. I am thinking of doing a street dance/kinda like a farmer's market but not really community event this summer. I will be purchasing a pop up canopy tent but wondered if anyone has ever had a problem with any of their product being compromised and how you combat this? Just don't want to put out a bunch of product and have it ruined but I do want to get some more exposure and thought this would be a good opportunity. Thank you in advance!!
