  1. Hi! I'd love any information on the safety of pouring wax while pregnant. I've avoided it so far but now that I'm in my second trimester and feeling better I'd like to pour again. I certainly don't want to take any chances! There isn't a whole lot of information out there so thought I'd come here and see what I could find. Thanks in advance.
  2. Hey Puma! What was blend do you use for your molds? Same as your chunks?
  3. You add your fragrance at 165...I add at 185. Do these temp differences change anything about the final product? I don't really know the facts on what temp you should add fragrance and what temp you should pour?
  4. Nikki did you decide if you liked blending your oils together or having your chunks separate from the overpour better?
  5. Puma I've been meaning to ask you the name of your business? I'd love to purchase from you!!

  7. So I used two sheets and criss crossed them and it seemed to solve the problem ? Also, I just recently bought a laser thermometer. When I compared it to the candy thermometer I've been using it seems the laser measures 10 degrees hotter than the candy. I don't know which to trust?? What do you use??
  8. What wax blend are you using? I'm not completely happy with what i'm using. i feel when cutting i get too many creamy flakes and it makes a huge mess . i have to wipe off my knife every time i cut. also are you using several layers of foil? i used just one sheet yesterday and wax made it's way behind the foil...HUGE mess
  9. So I made another batch today and attempted the foil method for the chunks ( before I was using some molds that still required me to cut into smaller chunks) as I thought this would be quicker. Well it was a fail. Are you using more than one sheet of foil? I just used one piece and the wax got underneath the foil and it was a bit of a mess. Help!! Hahaha
  10. Yes this is SO much fun to be able to discuss these things with you all!! I have been so pleased with Aztec's oils but haven't ordered wax from them! I will be trying these fragrances. I just got an email where candle science is doing their 1 oz for $.99 so perfect opportunity to try some! Thanks Puma!
  11. OMG!! Those greens are EVERYTHING!!!! Theses are awesome. Rejects?? I say works of art really. LOVE How would you describe the following scents: Carribean Teakwood, Black Coconut, Bamboo?
  12. I use the wilton small square molds and cut those into fourths
  13. Nikki these are beautiful! What molds are you using for your chunks and where did you get your bundt cake molds? Also what waxes are you using? This looks like it should be in a magazine!
  14. Theses look amazing!!! So clean! Do you mind sharing your wax blend? I'd like for mine to look as 'clean' as yours
  15. Thanks Belinda!! You should try them they turned out so yummy!!
  16. Puma thank you!!! I would absolutely love to see all your photos!! I think i read you use 4625/4794 blend. Is that 50/50? What I'm using for the chunks is equal parts IGI 6006 (parasoy container)/ 650 (parasoy votive)/ IGI 4625 (paraffin pillar). The 4625 is the paraffin pillar and is super hard to cut so I ordered 450 paraffin pillar as it's in granule form but I have yet to use it. Any help on this recipe would be appreciated. It may actually be ok....after going back to the chunks a day later they don't feel as "creamy" as they were feeling yesterday. Do you find that to be the case with yours Puma?
