I would love to know how to make it also, wiish someone would share a recipe.

I'm using flaming candle company's 650 paraffin pillar wax, I made tarts in clamshell in brown, I did two pours, they look lighter brown in the center. than the outer edges, I cooled them in a warm room? what I'm I doing wrong? 

I use igi 6006, you cant go wrong with this wax. you get a great ct and ht. you can burn the next day and get a great ht. easy to work with.

Heat gun, makes them smooth.

is that a pillar wax?

My daughter really likes the tarts they sale at Walmart, I think they are made by better homes and garden. does anyone know what kind of wax this is. It is a very hard wax?

So far I think the 8cd works the best for me in the 8oz. jelly jar, with the igi6006, how long does it take this wax to cure?

Has anyone tried the 600 container blend wax from flaming candle company? I purchased some and cant wait to try it.

How long should I let the candle cure, if using igi 6006?

would that be 0.3 fo, if I use for one candle, if I use 5.5oz of wax?

I use avery, took me a while to get them centered, I download a image , and add it to a blank label, I had to work around with getting them centered. print and then hold to light to see

if they are centered, if not I go back and move them up are down to get them centered. it can get frustrating, but print on printer paper, and put behind your avery lable, to see if they are centered, that way you don't waste all your labels, since this can get expensive. hope this helps

Becky do you get any dancing flame when the jar is half full with the zinc, I also keep getting a flame that grows very tall, with puffs of smoke, do you get any of this with the zinc wick?

Do you still get a dancing flame when the candle burns down half way with the zinc?

Thank you Sojourner, Im going to have to give the zinc I try, The premier 765 has work the best so far, back im getting a tall flame, and to much dancing. Im so glad for you advice.

Its a round 8oz. jelly jar, I had the same problem with soy. that's why I love this wax, I do 10 % fo, and liquid dye. It burns nice to start with premier 765, but half way down down is when the dancing flame comes in.

I haven't tried zinc before in igi6006, because it is a parasoy wax, and the description says, to use in parrifin,  so do zincs work igi 6006 ?

Ive move in to other rooms to see if it was a draft, but same thing

Really dancing around, it doesn't do it until the candle burns half way down in the jar though.
