I did it last summer...

But I agree with everyone else..

I mixed lemongrass with my citronella and it made it much more tolerable to smell.

But then I just switched to straight lemongrass and I'm hooked.

It works great....

We just got our dsl hooked up and my hunny set the laptop up for me in my sick bed so I ain't so dang miserable lol

Chickes makeup rocks and Im not just saying that guz she my girl either.

She knows I will be blunt and brutely honest with her.

I forgot to tell u that this summer, I was swimming in this makeup and it does not come off....

I also just had a really bad burn above my eye brow.

It hurt so bad and I put on neosporin and I had to leave to go to church.

So I thought no way am I going out looking like this.

Well...I took Sharons makeup and dabbed it on the burn.

It covered it up so good you couldn't see the burn at all..

Well I noticed later that night that my burn didn't hurt anymore.

I woke up the next morning and washed my face and seen that my burn was gone!!!!!! I am so serious. It was gone.

I was like no way...Yep way......

Now that is just what happened to me.

I can not tell people the makeup heals you, but it did my burn.

So anyways, I am a firm believer in Chickies makeup....

OH, and I will take that rump kick now please...

Nope. Actually I've never tried any mineral make up. Most of the time I don't bother wearing any. I do on work days just cuz my guy likes it, but it's only 3 days/week. I have such oily skin Foundation, blush, eyeshadow, lips... nothing stays on more than a couple hours. Usually just a bit of eyeliner underneath and mascara proving that I even put any on that day...LOL

I never was a "girlie" girl much but since I have to play along sometimes for him... I'll go check her site out...

She sold me on it. Now I threw away all the other brands and only use hers.

Thats a big plus in my book....

My Daughter came up last weekend and we had a makeup party.

I did her up in all the colors "Chickie1st" made so far.

But I only got a full face pic of the mauves.

It looks so natural on Tanya.

And everything matched perfect.

So here she is...... She said I could post her mug shot lol lol

I used :

Forbidden apple on her lips(with gloss on top) and cheeks

Love love love mineral makeup, except that I still can't get past the foundation not covering the way I'm used to (you know old school cake face?? LOL), I have all these little imperfections that I want covered and it doesn't seem to do the trick, any tips?

I feel for you. I used to be a covergirl freak. plastered that stuff on.

I found a trick with this mineral makeup and it works.

If I have a bad red spot and the powder just won't cut it?

I take a eyeshadow applicator and wettin it and dip it in the powder.

Then I dab it on the red spots. And blend it in ever so lightly.

Then go over it with the dry powders.

It works for me so far.

Okay, I have to ask HOW exactly do you remove it? If it won't come off in the shower or the pool, it must not come off with just warm water eh? LOL. I'm brilliant, I know! Is there a special make up remover you need to use?

I remove mine with either soap and water or my make up remover. On my eyes I use the makeup remover, only because I always tend to get the soap in my eyes.

Never fails. lol

It isn't hard to get off.

This is really nice to aging skin.

I am 43 and starting to show signs. lol

They look great! Do mineral shadows flake at all? My eyes are getting so sensitive in my old age of 36 and everything feels like its in my eyes.

Nope...I have not had a problem with them flaking at all.

And I wear them wet and dry....

And I'm with ya on the eye thing. I always feel like I have stuff in my eyes.

I will say that this is the best I have had so far....

I have bought alot of the other brands, They always either made me itch or just looked fake on.

Chickies are very very light . So light that u don't even think u have it on.

And when you have it on? You feel so soft....

I have not had any of the make up flake off me yet.

It is so satiny smooth it just glides on and stays put.

I have used this makeup now for a few weeks,

It is awesome. I will never go back to any others.

In fact...Today,I just threw out all my bare minerals, Bare essentials and the other mineral 1's I got from some other place.

I also packed up every other makeup I own except for my liners and gloss.

Oh since I said gloss.

I read and learned something.

You can take whatever color eye or blush color you are wearing

And put it on your lips dry.

Get it as dark as you want it.

Then, apply clear lip gloss over it.

WALA, Instant matching lipgloss.

I do it all the time now.

I love it.

As far as my own personal tests?

Oh boy.

Ok, I also put it on for 4 days and did not wash my face. ( almost killed me to do but I did it lol)

But anyways. The day I couldn't hold out no longer.

There was still make up on me!!!!!

I also took my showers with it on. It stayed.

My ultimate test was swimming with it on.

I came out of pool still wearing my makeup.

I just seen a commercial this morning for another mineral makeup.

I watched it and thought. hmmmf. Try chickies people. You will love it more. lol

Biased? maybe. But when I find something I love, really love? I stick with it.

Chickie found her nitch here.

So much so, that I told her to give up candles and concentrate on this.

Oh and I also know for a fact, that if chickie can see a color you like and she does not make it?

She will do her best to copy it for you.

Thats what she did with the 1 green for me. And she got it right!!!!

Oh and 1 more thing.

Chickies prices don't kill your wallet either.

I know cuz I'm a makeup queen and spent way to much money on the stuff.

She has me as a customer for life.

The writer of that ebook is experienced and dam good at what she does.

I bet there is a bunch of good info in that book.
