Too late! I have an addictive personality and started with soaps and now on to candles! Right now I have a hurricane in a water bath, HP soap in a crockpot and just finished cutting CP soap from yesterday!

I think its probably a LOT cheaper to order, but since I dont have the means to order anything I have found it locally at Hobby Lobby!

I don't really care for the unrefined shea so I did scent it, and I dont really like it as well as purple lilacs :-( but its not bad, I added a little bit of Strawberry FO

I got those little bitty containers for a quarter each!

I think I want to use refined because this is quite yellow from the unrefined shea.....unless thats what is supposed to happen? I know there is candles in the pic, but the ones with out the candles were to "FLASHY" lol, but the pics dont turn out at all if I turn the flash off

thank you everyone! the nice comments make me want to keep making more! I think the frosty part is because I put the mold in the freezer to get a skin going so i could pour the layer and the mold got cold! I think, everyone I show seems to like it so i'm going to try that again!

here's my candles so far! I started last night and i'm having a great time!

The one on the left is my first wicked candle, and the 2 picture hurricanes are all scented chocolate chip cookie.

The one in the middle is apple and pumpkin pie scented and the one on the right has the apple and pumpkin pie mix on the ends and the middle is LIGHTLY scented warm vanilla sugar!

I read the photo embed section last night and had to try it today! I cracked the hurricane trying to take it out too soon and I didn't leave the pic a square (read after it was cooling that its easier to have a square.....oops) but all in all I'm happy with the result! its me and my husbands engagement pic from over 4 years ago! any tips are helpful and appreciated but i'll be reading the boards all night to learn!

I'm using a ugly brown crockpot, and I think my soap is turning out ok! I have no clue on the castile soap, but thought I'd let you know that my crock pot works! Have fun!

Well I guess they could stink, but I wouldnt know since I'm in Michigan and they're in Nevada LOL, I'm going to just send the gifts as they are and when I talk to them on Christmas explain that this is my new hobby!

I haven't been lining the pan, but it is really hard to get the soap out! I haven't used CP, I've been doing the crock pot HP!

LOL, I have cats, one's Lucky and one is Mouse. They're my babies lol and the only thing I could think of and needed labels quick since I had to pack up some gifts for Christmas TODAY!

I'm new and took pics of all my soaps, there's 28 pics so I didn't think I should post them all........Put them in a photo folder on yahoo and if anyone wants to look go ahead. Would love to hear any feedback you're willing to give. The numbers at the beginning of the name is what batch I was on when I made them.
