I havent made a candle yet. I'm just gathering enough info before my order gets here. My question is, Why do some people use wax and put in their own additives when they sell pre-blended waxes that you dont have to add anything to but UV. Is there a reason why people would prefer them?

Thanks for the quick replies. So I guess I'll go ahead with the kit from Peaks. I wish I had a place close by that I could pick it up. I'm so anxious to get started.

Hello everyone This is my first post. I ask alot of questions so I'm sure you'll here from me again. I want to get a beginner kit, but i'm a little overwhelmed by all the products and information out there. I notice some people mentioned Peaks kits but it just doesnt seem like enough. Can anyone recommend a really good kit that will give me eveything I need to get started. Thank You, Kayla
