I wish it was that easy to get rich making candles!

I have an old cast iron mold that I want to use but the mold has rust in the ridges and I am not sure how to get the rust out any suggestions?

I have some 8oz jelly jars and I was wondering what was the best kind and size wicks to use in them?

any suggestions!!

I know someone on this board can help me. I want to know how to make wax that looks like whipped cream. I need to know what type of wax to use and everything. I am new to this so if anyone can help me I would appreciate it.

I am just disappointed that I usually order from Natures Garden but I thought that since I was ordering from L.S. I would try some of their wicks.

I don't even get to glue them in because the wicks come out of the little metal rings.

First I order something from lonestar and the package looked like it had be dropped and then kick the shit out of it and there was glass in the order.

Then today I get up from trying to put my dd down for a nap and I go to check the mail and I have a package about half way across my porch. It looked like they just threw it from the bottom step and it landed in the middle.

No door bell ring or knock or nothing!

I am a newbie

I use soy wax in my candles and I am wondering if anyone can help me with getting my fragrances cheaper. For me this is my biggest cost per candle right now.

I can only do 3 tins with 1 1lb. of wax so that means I am spending 1.00 on just scent. I was wondering where you guys get yours at?

I am new to this whole candle making thing and I have some parafin wax that I put in some tins and it looked ok while is was curing but when I went back to do my repour I had these sunkin looking holes and I tried warming the tin but it did help.

So can anyone help me???
