  1. I don't really know....but I do have a few over a year old and they still smell and work perfectly. I think if they are in a cheapie bottle...they may start to smell foul. I like glass bottles....so I try to keep them to re-use after the oil is gone :)

Anyone else have experience and want to share?

  2. Got mine in shutterbugs co-op, haven't had any trouble closing them, but I know one thing, I ain't gonna do clamshells, poured a few last night and I hate doing them, I'm not that steady with pouring in something so small. I made a mess . Egads guess I wasted money this time. That's what I get for jumping into something I haven't tried before.:rolleyes2

Then I'm assuming you don't do tarts either...right? ;) I H-A-T-E making tarts. Hate is an understatement. Now pouring clamshells, on the other hand, is awesome. I use a pyrex pour pot and they are a DREAM to pour.

  3. I have two -- one from supplies 4 candles and the other from early american candle. I have only sniffed the EA one (which is AWESOME), but have used the S4C and it is AWESOME! I have not smelled peaks nor bcs, so cannot compare....but cold throw and hot throw on s4c's is awesome.

  4. That commercial is for Febreeze Scent Stories, not the spray. I haven't tried it so I don't know if it even compares to a candle burning.

A friend of mine has this...and it smells pretty good. Of course it is a bit expensive to purchase up front....and I can't say I've seen "refills" for it. I also don't know how long it lasts, but it is a very cool idea and it does smell great. Of course I'd much rather burn my tart melts before using these!

  5. The only jars I haven't used are the 1.5oz hex jars that I order earlier this year. I thought I play with them some but haven't done it yet.:tongue2: I bought them in a co-op.

I hate these little buggers. They burn too hot IMO....and they are too expensive....and people would rather spend the extra couple bucks for a much larger size. Sometimes they do get the cuteness factor though....but I don't know, I don't like them. I'd rather the 4 oz and 9 oz hex jars....but I do love square masons, but I've only used those for smelly jellies (I bought them at wsp when they had a wicked sale -- they were about 35 cents each).

  6. I carry a lot from WSP....and they are all the $13.95 budget ones. My favs are Lilacs in Bloom, Sage and Citrus, Berries and Cream, Vanilla Buttercream and Chocolate Drizzle. I also have Cinnamon buns, maple pecan and bubblegum which I haven't tried yet. Oh, and their Relaxation is to DIE for....I bought this one off the classifieds and I have an open glass jar in my bedroom that smells up the whole room when I use it...it is amazing! Great fragrance (bit on the high end pricewise, but not too bad considering how darn strong it is). I love their stuff and I too wish I was closer so I didn't have to pay for shipping from them. I also get my tins there -- can't beat the price for 6 oz. tins....and everything I've ever bought has been excellent from them.

  7. oooh, those are good ideas. Any more?

I had a garage sale last weekend and put my candles out.....and two people stopped by wanting to do candle parties with me! I was shocked!! So, now I'd like to get versed w/ candle parties so I can have some in the near future.

  8. I couldn't find it and I looked under everyone of her links. I wonder if she has it off right now because she's out of stock? I'm going to email her to find out.

Ooohhh, let us know what you find.

I saw it at a local hardware store near me....but I think it was around $7-9 (I don't know how much it weighs though)

  9. Hmmm.....i just looked on the WSP website and I still see them for sale. I don't know why anyone would say otherwise unless perhaps it was for a certain size.

Ya almost gave me a heart attack when ya said that they discontinued the tins! LOL! This is where I get my 6 oz. deep tins....love em!

  10. OMG that looks like REAL strawberry jam-yummmmm BOY that's pretty cheap too, must not be selling that well, huh? I mean they've marked it down. :(

I think I'd buy that, just to try it out. ;)

I'm tempted to buy it! But, if I remember correctly, shipping from the UK is KILLER. Plus, I'd rather make it at home :) Now, I just need a recipe :)
