  1. Sultana soaped great and sticks in cp, though it's not a strong scent- it's nice and mellow, and like it. Soaps are at 8 week cure. I also have NG version "Royal B" , and imo FB is a little stronger oob. I have snow cake from both suppliers- don't care for either one..I did a tester soap using NG version and almost no scent..really bland fo... I haven't tested FB, and probably won't.

What is FB name for their "Royal B"?  I have NGs "Royal B"...  Unless I missed it I dont think I saw that..??  I probably just missed it tho...HaHaa!!  =)

  2. Thank you for the compliments on the soap!  It takes forever to make.

Tinsel is mostly pomegranate and then the mint is like, what is that, oh it's mint. lol.  It's such a cool fragrance.

Trappeur, I have some made if you want some. :)

It is beautiful!!!  I sent you a message BTW..  =)

  3. Christmas Tree from Fillmore -

It is really Balsam Fir......I've been using this for over 10 years.....is very very beautiful and wonderful thrower.

This was originally the Natural Artisans signature fragrance for years till she went out of business and sold out to Fillmore.  It was originally named Balsam Fir and then Fillmore renamed to Christmas Tree.

Note:  Add Vanilla Voodoo to this and wow, what a beautiful scent!  It's beautiful on it's own but takes on a softer sweet scent when I mix.....

This is my most favorite pine scent even though I have other beautiful ones listed below...but it's my favorite and I rename......

    Northwoods from Bittercreek North

    Another nice pine scent.......Very strong

    Sugared Spruce from Candle Soylutions....

    Wonderful also.....Very strong

I'm burning this right now.......love it!

    Christmas Hearth from Candle Science

Extremely strong - I love this one....You can actually smell the fire going in the fireplace mixed in with the pine.....

    Scotch Pine from Candle Science

A different take on pine.....very different and very strong.....I like this too

    Spruce Orchard from Lone Star

To me this is a sugared spruce....I love this one too and very strong

    Cinnamon and Balsam from Peaks

I can't remember if I tried it....I believe I did and it did exceptionally well......

    Spruceberry from Peaks

    I love this one!

Christmas Tree or Balsam Fir from Community Candle

    Great scent and thrower!

All the fragrances I've listed above I've tested even with shorter time periods.  I always wait a week to cure, but I can honestly say that all the scents are so strong I could burn in 2 days.......a couple even the next day......They are all so potent and you can't do wrong with any of these fragrances in my opinion.

SCENTS I DON'T CARE FOR THAT I HAVE TRIED THAT DID NOT GIVE OUT THROWS FOR ME AND I USE GB464

    Mistletoe from Candle Science

I just don't care for this scent at all and most everyone will tell you that it is a #1 Top Fragrance.

I think for the holidays the name Mistletoe sells in just about everything.

    Spruce Xmas Tree from Peaks

    I got no throw

Most will tell you it is a top favorite here...but I couldn't get it to throw....I need to retry and maybe up a little percentage...I always use 6%, but maybe I need more?.

    Winter Wonderland from Peaks

A very very faint throw...it's somewhat nice - but doesn't turn my head

    Frasier Fir from Peaks

As much as I like Frasier Fir and I really wanted this one to work, it just didn't for me at all......I could hardly smell anything

Winter Woodlands Whisper from Candle Cocoon

No throw for me and that is so odd................as I love all Lyschels scents pretty much and they all sure do throw......

    I love the name though!

    Christmas Tree from Candle Science

    Nothing special.....

Frosty Pine Cones from Candle Science

    I'm testing that this week.

Can you tell I'm into Pines? lol  One thing I've wanted to try is a Pinion Pine....Sounds Different....Haven't found one.

    Trappeur

Can I ask how much V Voodoo do you add?

  4. I did want to mention I think the issue is with the type of PVC used.  It is thicker and sturdier at first, but for PVC I've experimented with, I've had the best luck with the thinner, crisper feeling ones.  They might be a pain to take apart compared to panic PVC, but at least they last the test of time and don't get mushy and make the wax smell bad and waste product.  Best option is #5 plastic though.

Where do you get yours now then since your trouble with panic?

  5. Im the same way...I like what I like no matter the season....but i was just wondering what everyones best Christmas scents are...selling wise....whats their best Christmas sales scent..and of course their favorite scents for Christmas....I myself hate "pine" scents....I know Im odd but they always remind me of pine sol...maybe i just havent smelled a good one...Im going to try that Christmas Tree that everyone was raving about on another thread....maybe that will do it.... =)

and forgot to add....those 2 CC FOs you mentioned are the only ones I like from CC...Im not a huge CC fan...  I have almost all their FO in my stock...Im going to sell them...maybe someone might enjoy them then..Im just strange I guess... =)

  6. I'm weird in the way that I don't burn certain scents just because it is summer, spring, fall or winter.  I burn what ever I love at any time of the year.

    My favorites are:

Christmas tree (Balsam Fir)  - Filmore

    Vanilla Voodoo - CC]

    Sultry Angel - CC

    Christmas Hearth - CS

Chestnuts and Brown Sugar - Com. Can.

Mulled Cider and Chestnuts - CS

Mac Apple - Either BCN, CS or BWoods

    Roasted Chestnuts - BCS

    Pumpkin Cheesecake - BCS

    Sugared Spruce

    Birthday Cake - RE

Apples  & Maple Bourbon - CS

    Sugar Cookie

    Trappeur

  7. Thanks!

I was going to try to mix it with 4625. I use Wilton silicone molds.

I have (since I am just a hobbyist) just one presto pot. It is the stainless one and I can get 6-8 pounds of wax in it only so will have to spoon this wax in it when I try. Seems I should wait for cooler weather so this may be a winter test for me.

Seems many use 24%-50% to mix. 25 pounds should last me a good while!

Anyone want to sell me a ziploc/gladware container full (if it could be shipped that way at all)? I'd pay nicely for the chance to try it. Ship to zip 64082. Let me know if so.

    Thanks again!

You can order samples from Peaks for your testings..  =)
