Hello, thank you in advance for any advice you can give! My usual candle-making method is to use Golden Foods 464 Soy wax, melt to around 190 degrees F in a turkey roaster, add fragrance (if FP is above 185, or wait to cool to add fragrance if FP is lower) and pour into glass containers that I have pre-heated in oven. This has usually resulted in smooth-surface candles. However, this week my candles are very bumpy/wrinkled on the surface once they cool, and have a strange 'striping' on the side (I've tried to post pictures to demonstrate). What's going on? The only difference I can think of is it has been HOT here, and the candles are taking longer to cool but I thought that would help with the creamy smooth surface?
