  1. It could possibly be as simple as you have an air pocket just under the top of your candle. Some waxes, even though they are one pour, you will still get air pockets. I know I still do sometimes, but sometimes it's easy to tell because you get cracks in your candles. What you can do is take a skewer or something of that sort and poke a couple of holes around your wick when it is setting up to release any trapped air, then either do a repour to fill any holes after it's hardened or hit it with a heat gun. I haven't worked with the type of wax you are using, so I don't know if it is prone to air pockets, I'm sorry... maybe someone else might know. But at least it's something to think about.
  2. I appreciate your feedback on the 464, thank you! Would you all mind telling me what type wicks you use? I know there was a lot of speculation that it may have been a wicking issue with some of the problems that were being posted, especially the one with the candles losing their scent after burning for awhile. If I'm going to give 464 a try, I'd like to at least get a little wick information from the folks who are doing well with it, it would be a great help to me. Plus, I'll need to make sure I have to right ones on hand to do my testing.
  3. I'll second that! NG's is awesome! Super strong and it smells dead on... my husband is in love with it!
  4. Many of the posts are over a month old... I was really hoping to get some updated information since I see that there were some concerns about it losing throw after burning for awhile. Has it been determined why this happened? I really tried to read everything, I may have missed something so if anyone can fill me in I'd be very appreciative.
  5. I am looking at trying it for my 100% soy candles so I can get the smooth tops. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!
