tile is Smart Soapmaking by Anne L Watson. I bought my copy from Amazon.com
one chapter is on myths about soap & soapmaking. there are many and the writter challenges most of them. lots of recipes in this book too.
I highly recommend this book. esp. for people just getting into this craft.
I have read lots of books on soapmaking and this one is by far the best I have read. a no bull$hits approach to soaping.
rock on.

the Nag Champa is outta this world strong in CP soap! Flicker, who works for BC, made me a log. the soap is so strong in smell, I had to move the bars to my garage. the BC Nag Champa scent and the soap Jen made for me rocks!

I told my son the name of the soap scent and he practically rip me off the computer here to look. Cause he just brought himself a 1oz Abercrombie & Fitch cologne and it cost him $50.00!!!!!
Can you pretty please tell me where you brought your oil from?
Thanks
Meg

I bought a 16oz Patchouli (Beanpod) candle and though the candle had a decent burn, the scent throw was very, very weak.

Kentucky scents we love: we use straight paraffin & and a parasoy blend!
homemade apple pie
orange chiffon - though we have tested this scent from many different supplies and all seemed to perform awesome, and the scent / and throw was, for the most part, the same. (ICS, SS, NG hot orange danish is great too)
strawberry rhubard (NG has this same scent)
cotton candy- this oil is strong. we use .75/per #
lavender vanilla-
christmas past-
fresh cut roses-
van. butter fudge-
pineapple supreme-
