Two of my favorites are Lime Margarita from SC and Sweet Serendipity from The Scented Bean. Both are awesome.
-
I've tried SC and TSW and prefer TSW. Now I'm sure that did not help at all after reading Crafty's post lol.
-
Oh I like that a lot. Can I ask what kind of colorants you use for you HP?

This is a great resource to see how some FO'S behave for other soapers. You may want to check this out before using a particular fo.

The Scent Works or the one from Serendipity now sold at Day Star.

Don't pass up the Pink Sugar.

IMO the best by far is the one from Tony's . I love it. TSW has a good one to but I like Tony's better.

These are some of my husbands favorites.
Patch with Citrus
Sandalwood Rose (rj's)
Cammando
Sandlewood Vanilla
There's a couple of more he really likes but I'm drawing a blank.

I second Tony's on the Green Irish Tweed. I love it.

Oooh, EO's... I swore I'd never get into them, stop it damnit.
(As I sit checking out EOU this morning... )

I only have poured their BRV and I don't like it. It's plenty strong but it's just a strong candy type of Blackberry. I don't think it's a good dupe. It's missing the softness of the vanilla. TSW and Serendipity have the best IMO. I can't comment on the other oils mentioned.

Taylored Concepts Vanilla Sugar Cookie is EXCELLENT!
I second that one.

If you scroll half way down the page there are some instructions that will help get you started.

You could also add a bit of shaving soap base. That will help.
-
I've heard good things about the Mango Papaya but I have not tried it myself.

I love grapefruit, mint and vanilla together. I use peppermint. I'm not a big fan of spearmint.
-
Cranberry Chutney (dead on dupe of yankmee's) and Frosty Pear

That looks good. Congratulations on your first soap. I make CPHP and I never can swirl. I take out a small portion and mix my color in and then put it back in the pot and mix it all together. I usually use 1 oz of FO per pound. I like my soap strong. Sometime, depending on the fragrance I will cut back.

Yankee makes the Jack Frost thats vanilla and peppermint. Not all fo's with the same name will be the same unless it's says it's a dupe . The best I found was from Bubbles and Lights but it was really difficult to mix.
