  1. I agree with you too Tami and schmoopie....I discovered CS about 1 1/2 years ago or so but was afraid to try someone new...until I finally called them and asked several questions which were answered and answered very well. That conversation convinced me that not only do they know what they are talking about but they treat people with class and respect....I use them almost exclusively now, however, like schmoopie,I still have to order some fo's from BCN....but that list is growing smaller every month. As far as I am concerned,CS has my business and will have it for a long time.

  2. Knowing that there are many great companies out there that supply fo's etc. I am going to go with Candle Science....they have rapidly become my favorite supplier out of all those that we have bought from in the past. They are just excellent folks and have a vast knowlege of the candle business as do others, but I think that their customer service is amoungst the best in the business and that is what has won me over to them.

  3. Hmmmmm.....not very understanding.....Tasha could have been a bit more forthcmoming with the additional info. she passed on after the first two posts, that may have helped a bit more. But,I do agree with you two,to get specific answers your questions have to be specific also and not vague....like some of mine......hehehe....and darn it,I even know better.

  4. We use lots of NG fo's in our palm wax....in fact I am making some testers now. The ones we like so far are: Sweet Pea,China Rain,Spring Rain,Vanilla Silk,Sugar Cookies,Cinnamon Buns,Hilbilly Homebrew,Hot Baked Apple Pie,Red Hot Cinnamon,Fresh Peach,Sex on the Beach and Fresh Linen. There is only one that we have been disappointed with and that is their Blueberry Muffins. Baby Powder is pretty good too. HTH.

  5. Yes, the shipper with Automatic Daily Pickups can use the Hundredweight Service to ship to a residence. For multiple-package shipments weighing less than 1,000 pounds. With Hundredweight Service, there is no need for pallets,no extra charge for guaranteed on-schedule delivery and each package has its own address label and unique tracking number. Notice the "no extra charge part."

  6. We have been testing CS frosted palm with great results so far....We have tried many different wick sizes including most of the HTP line of wicks. The best luck we have had so far is to double wick our containers using the CSN 9's from CS. We have gotten a good clean burn all the to the end of the jar with good burn times and very little sooting(I hate ac's....got to remember to turn it off when burning). I will be pouring the GG tonight with the Series 800 wicks from WickIt. Hopefully that will work out for that wax,but I will also pour some usning the double wicking method and CSN 9's for that as well. So far the double wicking has been great no matter the color added or the fo's used.....Yea! For some reason a successful single wick has eluded us....for now anyway.....drat,and I preferr a single wick. Oh well, guess we will go with what works for now.....

  7. When we first started making soy candles,we looked at different brands that were colored(color does not hold well in most soy waxes) and then we asked people we knew if color mattered to them in a scented candle. Our customers told us that color didn't matter that much to them as long as the candle smelled great. So we opted to not color them at all. However, our palm wax candles color great and we like them better than soy as you can generally use less fo's and get better hot throws with palm wax....jmo

  8. Where do you live.....Alaska or Hawaii? To me that's out in the boonies and would cost alot more to make more than likely. My candles cost me about $4 to make(16oz. apothecary jars). That would include shipping and labor as well. As soon as I make my first million I will be hopefully able to lower my costs some:)
