I think I'm pouring it too hot. I read somwhere to chill the mold first. I use the wax that I get at Michael's. It comes in 11 lb slabs. I'm not really sure what it is. It's called Premium candle wax and has a 148* melt point. It's the only wax I can get around here, ( no credit card). I used Paradise Breeze fo from Yaley, 1 ounce. I'm going to go back to the techniqies here and try again with those directions. I didn't put any stearic in it. Thnanks for the help. I'll just keep trying till I get it right. Thanks.

It's a real straw.

Thanks for the nice comments. The color is all a cream color all the way down. I think it is the glass that makes it look brown at the bottom. But it is all one color all the way down.

I saw a thread in here somewhere, with a pic of some holders for tilted candles. I can't find it anywhere. Would someone know where it is? They are metal holders.Thanks.

I used CandleKitty's method, using dark purple as the primary and turquoise as the secondary. Hope this helps. Will pm you her method if you prefer.

I bought 2 new molds and some new scents ( For me) , and wanted to try them out. The marbled are tropical ? The name was worn off, but it smells wonderful. Will have to go back to Micheal's and get more and find out the name. The chunkie is scented Sugar cookie, not a good cold throw. The cream colored is scented Summer Sorbet, what a wonderful scent. Still have to test burn. Thanks for looking.

This is my opinion. I've only been doing this for a couple of months and only trying out the new methods. I'm sure you were perfect right from day one. I also don't know how to crop out all the filth. These were taken in front of my printer, I guess thats all the filth. You are rude and discouriging. For you I won't be posting anything else on this forum. Thanks for your encouragement!
I can't get it right!

I'm going to try the method on here. I can tell by the mottling I got it too hot. When I try to make a mottle I can't get it, now I see at the bottom that's what I got. Will try it again and not sooo hot this time. Thanks for all the help. You all have been great.
