LaPetiteBougie
Has anyone had experience shipping candles made with IGI 4627. Being its such a soft wax, I was wondering how it would ship. I sell mainly wax melts online, but I am trying to find the right container wax for shipping. IGI 4627 seems to get good reviews whereever I look, but no one mentions shipping candles. Any help is appreciated.
Flicker
"most" container waxes have a similar melt point, between 122-128*. In that range there is very little difference in how something will ship in the heat. The best answer honestly is that NO candles ship well when it is hot outside. I near exclusively wholesale my product and when it is SUPER hot on both ends avoid it like the plague! UPS/FED EX/USPS traliers WILL get to well over 150* thus will melt any candle. My best answer, ship only on Monday, only when it's below 90-95* and the fastest method possible in the hot months.
