  1. I would very much like to thank everyone. I did find the crystals that are for potted plants and I got and made them, but I am still very curious to what people are using for the salt crystals that actually work and are crystals. I am told they are some form of water softener pellets. I have tried what I know. Lol! Maybe I just better stick to the water absorbing pellets. Thanks everyone. I much appreciate you all giving me your time and help!
  2. Can you please tell me what it is I need to get that I can get at Wal-mart? I'm sorry I don't know where the first site that shows the product is? I was everywhere reading. Lol! I very much appreciate your help and thank you!
  3. I have tried every recipe i can find on these. I bought a big bag of Morton Solar salt for water softeners. That is the only salt in crystal form I seen. The other said pellets and I read not to use pellets. I am trying 6oz. of warm water to a teas of pellets for an 80z jelly jar. I can't even get them to swell up, absorb? I read different places to use the Morton salt for water softeners. Am I doing something wrong at this point? Any recipes appreciated! Please Help! TY!
  4. I'm not sure what you are doing wrong, wish I could help, but I buy most of my molds from Van Yulay, and have never had a problem and have never warmed my molds. She is a wonderful person. Maybe if you contacted her she may be able to help with your problem.
  5. Thanks, maybe I can check that out, I think step by step is what I need. Thanks alot for that info!
  6. I want to thank everyone for the information and the links. I think I have a lot to learn, and do feel I need to study up on this for awhile. lol!I have no experience in this field, but willing to listen. Thanks so much!
  7. Thanks so much for your help. I really appreciate it.
  8. Thanks for your info. I did try the search on the soap board but no responses. You may be right. They may all be busy. As far as helping, you are right. I love this board. I use it for my candles all the time, and everyone here is SUPER! Thanks again!
  9. How do you make handsoap? I posted this in the soap section but got no responses so I thought I would try here if you all don't mind? If so I do apologize! Hi! I am 100% new to this. Lol! I make candles and have never tried any kind of soap. My question is can anyone tell me how to make hand soap and also foamy hand soap? I would like to scent it and maybe color it also if I can. I have tons of scents. I guess my next question would be is, can you use candle scents or essential oils, and also candle colors in hand soap? I think it would be fun to make and a neat thing to have for gifts along with candles to friends and family. I really wouldn't expect to sell it! I just think it would be a new and fun thing to do. Anyway any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks so much!

  11. I just blended wild cherry with it for a candle. It smells like a Luden cough drop. I really like it!
  12. I bought elastic bows one time off the classy's that fit over my candle jars. They looked really cute and dressed them up, but now I am out. I have no idea where to find them or the size to look for. The ones I got, she said worked for that and they just did, lol! Anyway, does anyone know where I can find them? Another thing, always looking for Astro V wax. Prefer pellet form if possible. Thanks Much!
