GermantownCandles
Ok, so I have never used multiple wicks to make a candle before. My wife bought a very nice ceramic jar that she wants to make a candle. It's round and 6" diameter. What would be the best way to wick it? I use 6006 and the two sizes of wicks I have on hand are zinc core 60-44-18Z and 62-52-18Z. Is it doable with these sizes? Thanks for all of the help! Stella1952
I'd use 3 wicks but I don't use the type you have on hand so I have no suggestions for you. Also, what kind of wax will you be using (which makes a difference)?
GermantownCandles
I use IGI 6006
Stella1952
I don't know how 6006 compares with soy wax, but with NatureWax C3, I'd start with 3 CDN 8s and go from there... curl points outward.
CandyinVA
I use (3) 51's i my 6" bowls and they work great! My bowls are metal not ceramic so I would try 51's or 60's.
