putter5775
can I expect to get the same test results from a 4oz jj as from a 8oz jj? Trying to see what wick works best with some new FOs I just received. I had a problem with over wicking in a 8oz jj, and was interested in this as I had a case of 4oz's laying around. TIA
Stella1952
You should test new FOs in the containers you intend to sell. If you already had a problem with overwicking 8 oz. jjs, why would testing 4 oz jjs be of value?
putter5775
I had them laying around, they have the same size diameter, just shorter, from what I read, its all about the diameter, not the height, just wondering, thats why I ask, tks. from what I have read some FOs need alittle extra wicking, thast what I am testing for tks again
Stella1952
The diameter is important, but so is the depth of the container and its general shape, for that matter.
coconut
I'm thinking you may have to wick down a little, because the 4oz jars are tapered and the 8oz are not. Wick for the bottom of the jar.
