Rebatch question

Recommended Posts

After searching I didnt quite find what I was looking for, but am I right when I say that its easier to rebatch if I shred my soap as soon as possible or when its fresh, that its eashier to melt. I shouldnt have to add any water or milk if I just made the soap tonight and plan on rebatching on Monday?

Yes you are correct. The fresher the soap, the easier to rebatch and the less liquid you should need to add. But the amount of liquid you will need to add to even fresh will depend on how much is in the soap in the first place. So you still might need to add a TBS or so to it. Good luck and let us know how it turns out.
