Coloring b&b with mica ?'s

I made some body butter in Sweet Cakes' Princess type. Smells wonderful and very much like the original.....until.....I got the idea to color it lavender. I tried to make lavender once with FD&C Red #40 and Blue #1 once the color was lavender but it was a flat looking lavender. I have these micas (both the FD&C drops and micas are from Peak's) 1 is pink and the other one is purple or lavender....I think. Anyhoo, I mixed it in my tester batch of butter and EGG CITY!!!! You can still smell the Princess in there but I smell eggs. Now there is nothing wrong with eggs, just don't want them in my body butter, kwim! Is there some sort of trick to these micas or am I putting them up for sale in the classy's?
