evesorto Posted August 25, 2008 Share Posted August 25, 2008 Wax is igi 4627, fo is 10%, wick is eco 2 and container is a one oz. tin, appx 2" diameter. I am using a new testing method. I am now allowing the candle to burn for 2 hours before I rate it. I am using my master bedroom which is appx 15'x20' with 8 ft ceilings.If the candle scent/throw is rated a 10, it has amazing throw and is a powerful "knock your socks off" scent. (ie Hansel/Gretel from CS, Sweet Amber Musk for AH, Strw Rhub from Flickers)If the candle scent/throw is rated a 9, it scents the room wonderfully but doesn't knock you over the head. (ie CS Mango Papaya, ICS Moonlight Path).If the candle scent/throw is rated an 8, it scents the room noticeably, but may require a larger candle (CS Ocean Mist, AH Almost Paradise).If the candle scent/throw is rated a 7, it is a barely there type of scent and I don't reccomend it.If I can't pick up on any scent at all, I rated the oil a 0.Gelluminations had a sale and I got a bunch of samplers for about $1 each.Aspen Winter....BBW dupe.......beautiful holiday scent.......9Bayberry.......very nice..not as strong as AH...................9Black Rasp Vanilla....nice oob, ,,,,,,no throw for me........0Cinn and Clove.....my daughter fav of the bunch..............8Fresh Waterfall........clean, water scent..........................9Mango Papaya....similar to CS.......................................8Orange Drop Cookie........great oob but no throw for me ...0Passionfruit and Guava.........no throw for me ...............0Peony Petals..........may have to wick up........................7Pumpkin Pie Paradise.....cant put my finger on scent. Is beautiful. BBW dup...loved it.......9Rain Shower.....another nice water scent. Light....8Snow Drift. My fav of the bunch. Reminded me of ozone. Loved it. 10Tiare Flower. Yank Dup........no throw for me ........0I had a few duds in this bunch. Still I am draw to the variety at Gelluminations. Their scents speak to me.BTW- don't remember when it was posted but a CT member questioned whether Gelluminations provides a diff quality oil for its one ouncers vs. the full size.
