GourmetSoy
I've been using the same lotion base for the last 2 years and I love it. The only problem is that it turns brown easily with a lot of my FO's. I've done a search here and haven't come up with much of anything.I was wondering if there is a vanilla stabilizer for lotion and where can I get it?Thanks for any help you can give:)
scentsme
I think I've seen it at Wholesalesuppliesplus & possibly BitterCreek
GourmetSoy
Thanks scentsme for the reply! I've seen van stabilizer for cp & mp but never have seen it mentioned for lotions. I was wondering if anyone knew if it could be used in lotion or if there was some specific type I should use. WSP and BC's both say for lotion. Meridith
It only says on the bottle "for soap". But you can use this in any application? That would be great since for me it has worked extremely well in my soaps.
heirloomoriginals
Okay, I may stand corrected. I thought it could be used in more than CP. I will check their boards and find out. Sorry if I mislead anyone.Stephanie
bugtussle
I have used it in M&P. It's OK in some lotions; in others it separates. Carole
Sharon in KY
I put some Van Stablizer in some lotion about a month ago and it's still white were as the one without, is starting to turn. Used some VS from WSP that I have had for quite some time with VBN FO. HTH

GourmetSoy
Awesome Yoyo:D ! My WSP shipment is coming today with the browning neutralizer! I'll make up a vanilla lotion that usually browns within a few days and see how it works for me!
Sharon in KY
Thanks Sharon! Did you use the plain VS or the browning neutralizer? This stuff was called Van Stablizer and is years old so it might not be the same as what they have out now. Use NG's Mrs Clause Cookies and Van Bean Noel from the Army Wife or somebody like that.
