Wax Burners

Recommended Posts

I am currently using Jackel Warmers and I want to switch over to a different company for something new and different. We have several other stores in our small town carrying Jackel. The town is flooded with them. I'm trying to find out how to order waxcessories products but my searches aren't coming up with anything. Would anyone happen to have a web address, phone number, or any contact info for them?

If there are any company's out their that anyone would want to pass along info on for Wax Warmers (mainly looking for electric) and also Jar Warmers (not the hot plate style) it would be greatly appreciated

Several months ago I placed an order for $400.00 worth of the dual jar/melt warmers from Levine to get free shipping. I sold some of the warmers for the holidays and a couple came back to me as defective. I tested the balance of my shipment and found four of the perhaps 40 warmers I purchased did not even warm up at all.Levine was very accomodating and said they would credit my next order if I told them how many defectives I had, but I felt it was partly my own fault too as I did not open and test right away when I received the shipment. I did open the boxes to check for smashed items, but not electrically defective. Once I realized what was happening, I took the time to open each one and plug them in to be sure they worked before I sell them.It was such an embarassment to sell something defective that was brand new out of the box! Just be sure to check your shipment ahead of time.

We had a couple defective ones from Levine's also. Two were the small baby jar warmers (cherubs - I am not sure they carry that particular one anymore) and one was a cachepot warmer. They were wonderful about crediting us. We are a small business, so we have probably bought approximately $600 worth of warmers from them and three have been defective.

I truly do not want to have to check each one when they come in. I can't believe that large businesses that sell these open each box, check for broken warmers and plug them in to make sure they work. When I bought my first one from a local store, the box had not been opened.

Does everyone check their warmers before they sell them?

I love working with this company - they are prompt and we have used their products ourselves and have been very happy with them.

I do check all of mine from Jackel. I wasn't at first but then I had one come back and even though it was a good friend of mine that had bought it was like you said embarrassing. So I started checking at that point. I'm sure Jackel started getting quite a few complaints because I started receiving the warmers with a marking that they had been tested. But I still check each one as soon as they come in with or without the tested marking.

The majority of the booths in the craft shop where we sell our products is mainly primitive items so that's another reason for me to change things up.

I have found some items at Crazy Mountain, Harvest Scents, and Candle Warmers.com that I'm most likely going to try out. If any one has any input on those company's products I would love to hear your thoughts.

We have gotten quite a few bad ones and therefore, we check each one to make sure it warms and make sure light works. It is a shame they don't have a way of testing them. They do give credit or replace. I guess those Chinese folks who make them do not test. Carole
