evesorto
Mind you, when I pour my candles I only do about 4 (6 oz jars) at a time. I try to have an extra ounce or so. After I pour the four candles I pour the extra ounce into a tart mold. When the candles cool, if they have any sink holes or indents, I use what I've set aside in the tart mold. I warm the metal mold on the hot plate of my coffee maker and once the wax is melted, I top of my candles. This little ounce of wax is usually all I need. And this frees up my double boiler, so that I can go on to my next batch of scent.Eve

I use candle warmers and add my left over wax in a small glass measuring cup (gotta have that handle) then when my palm wax candles starts to set up good I poke relief holes and re-pour!!!! Walmart carrys these and they are inexspensive! it saves on me going upstairs to my stove!

Debra Phelps
This tops them all. I have a toast oven. I put the candles in there on broil for just a minute or so. It completely evens the tops and eliminates all those other steps. I make around 20 cases a day, and this is much faster.
