Cindys
I tried making a forever pillar with CS Feather palm wax. It looked great. It is a 3x3 mold with a votive cup in it. I used a little white color and scented with High Cotton. Problem is the pillar melted when I lite the tealite. Has anyone made these with no problem. I poured at 200 so I dont know if it is something I did or just the wax.
flightoffancy
I've not tried the forever pillars with votives but I make them using the tea light glass holders and the CS Starburst and mine do not melt.
Kay
Same here, I've never made with votives, but with tea lights & have never had any of mine melt & thats all I do (as far as pillars). Where is it melting at?
Cindys
It melted on the side, I bet the votive is just to much. Does anyone have a secret as to how to keep the glass tealite holder centered? Is a concave mold the wrong type to use? I tried this once I poured I hesrd a small pop I thoght cool it set up, Then I stood there and watched it pop up and flip. I sad a few choice words. Any suggestions
