beau's mama
Hi everyoneAfter ordering samples, I still haven't found quite what I'd like in a lotion, so I've decided to roll up my sleeves and try to make my own Maybe by this time next year I'll have it right!I found a nice little recipe but it calls for Dimethicone, and of course, I don't have any. Would cyclo be a decent sub? I want the lotion to ultimately end up not greasy, but with that soft dry, not tight, feeling (?)ETA: Has anyone ever used the Fusion Magic from Kangaroo Blue? Is it as easy as it sounds?TIASharon
Carol M
I'm not sure if Dimethicone could be substituted or not, because it's more thick and syrupy; cyclo is thin and watery. I personally did not care for the Fusion Magic; the end product had a stickiness about it that was disagreeable to me. I'm sticky-phobic, though. Christine Flapp
Cyclo & Dimethicone are two different types of silicone & I would not sub one for the other. I would not buy Magic Fusion again because it felt like slime no matter how I altered their recipe suggestions, however, everyone liked the samples.
