Guest EMercier
I want to get a 12 lb mold from FCS after Christmas, for those that do large batches as a time, what do you use to mix the larger batches. I normally make my batches 4 lbs at a time and my little stick blender from Wal-Mart does the job. I've seen people with drills and an attachment. I guess I'm looking for that attachment. Just want to make more. TIA!
Brenda
I make 12 pounds at a time and use a Braun stick blender and a large stainless steel spaghetti pot for mixing. It does fine! I think I won't need one of those electric drill paddle attachments until I make larger batches. Just my 2 cents. You are going to love making larger batches! Guest EMercier
Cool, that'll work. Can I get one of those just from Wal-mart or do I have to order it special? I can't wait! Thanks Brenda.
Brenda
Check your walmart for an inexpensive unit! The Braun I have is "ages" old and I don't think they make them in the same style anymore...
Sherie
I have a Braun as well. I did see them at my Walmart before Thanksgiving so I would say some of them do carry the Braun brand.
caradelrae
You can buy a paint mixer attachement for drills at most hardware stores for less than 5.00. I have one around just incase the old stick blender packs it in...Better safe than sorry....lolCara
