Crystala25
I placed an order from BCN lip balm base and now have it coming in today. So a quick question, when you melt the lip balm (this base or any other recipe) do you let it harden up to see how it will come out and then remelt it to put it in the tubes. I was reading on the board that some people have grainy lip balm problems, so I don't want to fill the tubes and it come out grainy, that would be too hard to get back out to remelt. Any suggestions? Noodle
I melt it, add my flavor, and pour it right into the tubes. I wait and fill it again because as it hardens, the top sinks and needs a bit more. I have never had a grainy problem.
