petpamper
I have been trying to work on a hard bar that is also conditioning. I am beginning to wonder if it is possible to have both at the same time. I have put this through the calc. but can anyone give me suggestions because it seems to dry out my skin. LOL, either that or I just have super duper dry skin. I know the Coconut is drying, but it is also what makes it hard so I dont know how to get a good hard bar without so much of it. Any suggestions would be very much appreciated.Palm 10%Shea 15%Coco butter 15%Coconut 35%Sunflower 5%Almond 5%Peanut 5%Grapeseed 5%Safflower 5%
younggrasshper
could you lower the coconut and put some beeswax?

You've got way too much butter in there and you are lacking a base oil. Your hard oils are at 75%. Aim for 50%. Cut back on the coconut to 15%. Cut back on the butters to 5-10% total. Add some olive oil or rice bran oil.e
