I have always used clothespins to centre my wick's and have never had any problems.

I have a ceiling fan in my livingroom and I'm not sure about the scent throw but it does change the way my candles burn. They tend to burn only on one side. I have tried this with my own and store bought ones and it is always the same. I'm sure it is because of the air flow.

I'm not sure if they have granular wax but give Canwax a try. Below is the link to their site.

If you are close to St. Mary's you can give VillageCraft Candles a try. They do not have melters on their web page site but do give you an 800 phone number to call for pricing on them. They have them from 8lb size to 180lb.

If you find it on the old board would you mind sharing where it is? These are awesome. I would like to try and make some also.
Thanks

Awhile ago I put a few pics online for friends to have a look. This is the web address to it.

I'm not sure what I like doing better candles or glass. At least with candles I don't cut my fingers

I did the stained glass. Have been doing glass for about 10 years or so. Also have a kiln that I do warm glass in. The candles and stained glass go well together at the shows. Do you have any pics of your glass? Would love to see them.

Yep it is votives in the baskets. Sales were great. I like the crates as they also do dual purpose for packing up the candles after the show for transporting them home. Saves on having extra boxes under the table leaving more room underneath for extra candles.

I'm also curious as to how to make these awesome water candles. Could you also please send me the instructions.

Along with Orange I add Georgian Peach and Cranberry. This is one of my best sellers.

I have used them and you are right they do turn out shorter and wider than the usual votives. I use one as a holder to burn the candle in as the regular votive holders are too small. I used them like you would any metal holder by spraying mold release before pouring.

I have been reading about all the awesome products Peak's carries but after checking their web page site, I notice that they only ship in the U.S. As I live in Ontario, Canada does anyone know a supplier as good as Peak's that ships to Ontario or are located in Canada. I do have a tax number so I can deal with a wholesaler it needed.
Thanks

Would anyone know how to make diffuser oil? Can I dilute candle fo with something to make the oil. My girlfriend bought a night light that has a small glass vial in the middle of it for fragarnce oil. She can't find diffuser oil in our area and I was wondering if I could make her some. I have done a search on both Candletech sites and have come up with nothing.

I just finished my first three day show with great sucess. As I am new to creating candles I only have a few fo's and the closest store to purchase new ones is a two hour drive for me. During the show I had several requests for Strawberry Daiquiri scented candles. I already have strawberry fo but would like to know what else I can add to this to make it into a daiquiri. Can anyone give me suggestions?
Thanks
