Yup, my daughter would love that one too!!!

Really? I've never heard of it...
Not many candle makers are willing to tell "ALL" of their secrets.
Do you not scent the wax? Or do both? If it's just the wick, how much scent could that put out?I scent both.

That's cool!! My daughter would love it.

Also, I have the same problem with citrus basel, (8 oz jelly and 9 oz hex. This batch ws wicked and three relief holes around the wick. What should I do???
Air pockets in J50 usually come from using jars that have an opening smaller than the jar itself.
-
Oddly it sometimes helps to blow into the wick hole. Feels kind of silly when you do it, but it can help, at times.
It sure does.

What a cool concept!!!!

I'm with CranberryGirl. Heat, is heat, is heat...no matter how it's applied, the FO is getting warm and releasing it's scent into the air and I am thinking it will still smell like crazy glue.

Flame suit on:
To each his/her own. :smiley2:
I have been scenting my wicks ever since day one in 1999 and NEVER have had a problem. No big flame, no snap, crackle and pop.
I purchase my wick raw so I can tab my own and scent the wick before priming it. Lots of candle makers out there do it. It's not as uncommon as you think.

Looks like snow!!

WOW...that's awesome!

That's cool looking.

I'll bet you could sell a bunch of them to bikers and use Mary Jane FO
Aaaaah, bikers getting stereotyped again.

Gorgeous candle!

I think they would be better in lip balm tubes.
Now that's an idea. I like it. No more finger to wipe off.
-
No such thing as a silly question.
Yep, just rub your finger across the top and apply wherever. The heat from your finger helps it melt a bit.
-
I've used the needle noise pliers too. Where did ya'll find your crimpers?
Ooh I want to know too!!

All depends upon my mood. <G> Sometimes I buff it off with alcohol and others I leave it.

Not to worry...no offense taken.
I figured that you wrote that because you have experienced it at one point or another.
