I'm sorry so late responding. When I used 1 oz of BTMS and .5 oz of ewax it separated but did fine with .5 BTMS and 1 oz ewax.
I would just add some gylcerin. I will just follow the recipe as it was written. Thank you so much for your response.

I am so frustrated! I thought this recipe only separated when I used olive oil. But it seems to be a hit or miss. When it doesn't separate it's wonderful!! People who try say it's amazing! I mix up the e-wax with BTMS at times could that be the problem? Sometimes I add some glycerin could that be the problem? Last night I thought I had the problem solved because the moment I added the FO it separated but tonight it separated before the FO. PLEASE can anyone help me?

I love this recipe and everyone who tries it loves it too. But every time I use olive oil in it, it ends up separating. I can immediately try it again and use other oils in it, it turns out very creamy. Any idea why?

I am so glad I found this thread. I make CP soap and have never done anything with M&P until a few weeks ago I bought some clear to put some plastic bugs in as a novelty for kids.
I was making a small batch of CP soap and used a Dirt FO and colored it camoflauge. I mentioned on facebook how my house smells like dirt because of the soap. We I have presold 30 bars of "hunter's soap". I don't have time to make that much and it cure good enough so I decided I would make M&P. For some reason I had bought some "pearl and foam booster" from WSP. Can I use that in M&P? I really don't know why I bought it in the first place.
Thanks in advance for your advice

If you will look up the description on the suppliers website most of the time they will post the percentage in B&B, CP and other uses

Masks are fun. I usually go by ear, so long as there's about 40% clay in there (give or take 10%), you've got the mask-ey feel.
Maybe try:
40-50% clay (something mild like Aussie pastel pink, french pink or just kaolin)
20% finely ground oatmeal or hydrolyzed oatmeal powder
10-20% milk or yogurt powder
10% honey powder
(optional)10% anything else! Cocoa powder, aloe powder, kelp powder, ground herbs... up to you, really.
Have fun!
I made a mask similar to this I used Kaolin clay, honey powder, baby oatmeal and lemon powder. Wasn't real sure about the lemon powder but thought it might lighten the dark freckles. I have never used a mask in my life (48 yrs old). Boy was my skin dry when I washed it off. So I used the oil mixture from the Oil Cleansing Method. 25% Castor Oil and 75% Sunflower Oil. My face sucked up this oil mixture but I still put the hot wet towel on my face.
Boy does my face feel amazing today.
Does the mask normally make your face feel so dry? I forgot the powder milk would that have made a difference?
Thanks in advance
