    actually, the font IS copyrighted. I purchased the right to use it commercially. All I'm going to do is have it investigated to see if StudioBeck followed the rules. The owner of the font is the one who will be handling it from here on out. It's their copyright, not mine. If she truly bought the font, and can prove she bought it before using it commercially then she has nothing to worry about, right?

    Funny that you only seem to post when you can champion StuidoBeck, Bubly.

    ETA: I NEVER said I wasn't slamming her... think my point is obvious...

    ALSO, before posting that it is copyrighted, why didn't you ask Beckie if she did purchase it?, how do you know she didn't before you even came along?? you may have jumped the gun....

    Look again, I don't only post for Beckie, but feel the need to jump in when someone is trying to slam her and her business, boy jealousy is everything I guess, isn't it? why don't you read through all of the links you posted and find out the real truth behind the lies...AGAIN, AS I SAID BEFORE YOU SHOULD HAVE ACTED LIKE AN ADULT AND DEALT WITH THIS WITH BECKIE NOT WITH A COMMUNITY YOU KNOW SHE COMES TO....

    An except from the email I received from her dated 11/13/07:

    "I am a fair person that only wants the best for my clients, as I have done

    as I do not want to upset you, I want to do all in my power to keep the

    peace. I will mention that I have had many clients in the past find a font

    that they request they be the only one to use and I keep it that way for

    them (at least through my use). "

    Sooo.... I have proof of her lying to me. There are other threads in which she's been accused of serious wrong doing. And whenever someone brings this to public, THEY are the ones chastised for speaking up. Why on earth should this be kept quiet? Why should someone who speaks about it be chastised? I know that she has a fan club, and everyone is entitled to their own opinion. But why is someone with a negative opinion immediately attacked for stating it? There are only so many times a person in a position such as hers can make excuses.

    Sockmonkey, would you happen to know who I would need to contact to report this? Perhaps it is beyond time that an outside party does some investigating and gets to the bottom of a few things. I would appreciate any information you could give me in regards to how to report this. Thanks!

    You say you aren't slamming and then post this?, WOW...nice...and report what? this font isn't copyrighted so really what do you have to go on? if I were you I would just move on.

    Please, DON'T use DIY Estores! I had a site with them for about a year, and I'm sorry I wasted my time and money for that long. My site was constantly down, and the woman who owns it (she also owns Prim Mart) was never any help and was often very rude. She's not a nice person at all. She's arrogant, immature, and unprofessional, and I was even less impressed with members of her "staff." I wouldn't recommend her hosting to anyone.

    DJ Doodles hosting and Create-A-Shoppe are owned by different ladies, and I've heard good things about both, especially DJ Doodles. Nice ladies and good, reliable, caring hosting. And I'm sure the other one mentioned here is great also. But please, don't waste your time or money on DIY Estores or Prim Mart. NOT a good company or group of people to work with at all!

    I switched to another host where I design, set up, and maintain my own site, but everyone I know who has switched from DIY to DJ Doodle has been super happy with DJ Doodle.

    I have had DIY for almost 2 years and never has the owner been rude or her staff......I fully recommend DIY
